The same way a river curves its path through and about rocks,
The heart takes its course,
Its drawn to whatever it is drawn to for whatever reason,
Sometimes we are attracted to a comfort we have never had,
Sometimes to a craving of our dominant self,
Sometimes subconsciously, to a keen shape in another,
And other times to the 'hammer' that is meant to shape us for destiny.
Sometimes to little pieces of our future selves,
And other times to objects that remind us of a beautiful memory,
But all the same, the heart takes its own course,
And it cannot be coarsed!
