The morning rolled around quicker than it ever seemed to Adelia. And as per usual she woke up snuggled in blankets in her own bed. The others weren't in the house at all, just Aunt B in the kitchen scrambling eggs and making french toast. She trudge into the kitchen and took a seat at the dining table.
"Aunt B, where are the girls?" when she spoke up, she didn't realize just how sore her throat felt. Thinking about last night racked her with chills.
Aunt B Plated her food and gave her Orange Juice to drink, "I don't know where they are now, but they did spend the night with those boys. They're probably still there."
"Those boys?" Adelia thought she didn't even know about them.
"Yeah, those biker boys you gals have been hanging out with nonstop. The blonde one carried you to bed last night, don't you remember?"
Adelia felt a cluster headache build as she tried to remember the events of last night after the nightmare. She wept in David's arms, ranting on about the nightmare, she begged him to take her home, and something about carrying her. Her hands subconsciously rubbed at her knees. Adelia had scraped the up pretty bad after tripping over herself several times. Walking into the kitchen was a little uncomfortable too, from spraining her left ankle.
"Aunt B?" Adelia spoke up again.
The older woman joined her at the table, "Yes?"
"What do you do when you're in love with a guy?" She picked at the eggs on her plate.
Aunt B put down her fork, "Depends. Is this guy good or bad?"
Now that Adelia thought about it, David never was bad to her that she knew of, like in an abusive sense. He treated her rather nicely, but on the other hand he was the leader of a misfit biker gang, and he constantly was there around her, well, his energy/aura at least, when he wasn't physically there. Always watching... The nightmares made her chest tightened, knowing he might have something to do with them.
"What if they are both?" she took a sip of her drink.
Aunt B smiled, "Well there's only one way to figure out." before cleaning up her spot at the table.

What Aunt B had said stuck with Adelia as she trekked the boardwalk alone that night, looking for her girl friends. Kate's words of wisdom repeated in her head as well, "Just try and keep an open mind".
She took a seat on a close-by bench. All of the thinking made her headache worse, and she quickly began messaging her temples which did little to nothing in return, and the carnival music didn't help either. Looking up she suddenly caught sight of her friends, and David's stark blonde hair, roaming through the crowd far ahead of her. Adelia shot up and hunted down her little group. She got shoved and pushed around, having to squeeze her way in between people. They were getting farther and farther away as Adelia was swept into the sea of bodies.
"Dammit" she cursed, trying to see over people. A big hand clamped down on her shoulder, making her jump in surprise. The boy was tall, lean and his untamed salt-water soaked hair hung to the tops of his shoulder. She looked around when she finally realized she had walked right into Surfer-Nazi territory.
More flooded behind the cocky motherfucker that had the guts to get her attention.
"Dudes, its one of the biker girls!" one of the lesser surfers chuckled along with the rest.
