Hi, my name is Grace Scott, and I am here to tell you about my chance to meet the great Voiceplay. It all started one day when I found out that Voiceplay was playing in a town about a 9 hour plane ride away. I, of course, was very excited but I was disappointed because I knew that I wouldn't be able to make it to the concert since I am broke. I told my best friend about the concert and she said that she would figure something out.  Since she was a big fan of Voiceplay to.

But little did I know that she would go and write to Voiceplay telling them about my situation.  A few days later, I received a letter from Voiceplay. The letter reads as follows

Dear Miss. Scott,

My name is Geoff Castellucci, and I have received a letter from a fan claiming to know you. This fan says that they have a friend(you) who wanted to come to our concert in Sacramento but wasn't able to pay for the tickets to get in. So I talked it over with the rest of the band and we decided that we will give you a VIP ticket to the show and then have you and your friend stay with us for a few days to possibly help us with a couple of songs that we are working on.
Attached is a ticket for you and 2 airplane tickets for you and your friend. Also attached is my personal phone number, in which you can talk to me anytime you need anything.

                               Sincerely, Geoff

When I finished reading the letter I just about fainted.  Geoff Castellucci himself just wrote me a letter and gave me his phone number.  A little while later I called my best friend, Jasmine, to tell her about the letter and asked if she did it and she said that she did. I couldn't be mad at her. Then she asked when the plane was supposed to leave, and I said 2 pm the next day. She was like well we better hurry because we only have 10 hours to get there, and we have quite a drive to the airport.  I was like ok that means that we are going to have to hang up, ok?
Jasmine was like oh alright.

As soon as we hung up, I immediately called Geoff to make sure that he had my phone number. Geoff wasn't able to answer the phone since he was asleep so I left a message for him saying that I was thankful for the tickets and that when he got the chance that he should call me back to arrange pickup from the airport and where we will be staying at.

When I ended the call, I started to pack enough clothes for 2 weeks. I also packed my computer, some books, a couple of notebooks, pens, pencils, and my camera.  When I got done, I called the school that I volunteered at and told them that I would be unable to come in to work because I was going on vacation. They agreed reluctantly.

I went over to Jasmine's house to see if she was finished packing, which, of course, she was.  According to her, she was done within 10 minutes of talking to me.  She apparently was getting worried when I didn't show up within 15 minutes of hanging up with her. So I had to explain that I had to call Geoff to make sure that he had my number and then the school to get my vacation approved.

Soon after Jasmine and I finished locking everything up, we made our way to the airport to wait for our plane. After going through security and checking in, Jasmine and I sat down by the bathrooms since it was going to be a little bit before the plane landed. Jasmine and I started talking about how fun meeting Voiceplay was going to be when Geoff called me. When I answered, Geoff seemed extremely saddened at the fact that he had missed my call earlier. I assured him that it was fine since he was really busy with getting things ready for upcoming Voiceplay concerts and taking care of Kathy(his wife) and William(his son).

But Geoff kept apologizing for missing my call since he wasn't busy and should've heard the phone ring.

I said, " Geoff, it's fine, I assume you stepped away from your phone for a moment and was unable to hear it. And besides, you couldn't have predicted that I would be calling you when I did, so it isn't your fault."
