Opinions: MHA

Here's the thing. There's this shounen anime that's really popular at the moment. My Hero Academia.

But I have yet to watch it.

Why?

I'm sure it's a great show that's fun to watch, but I just don't see myself watching it.

Sure, I like Sailor Moon. The characters in that anime and manga have powers too.

That doesn't justify me ever watching MHA. Just because Shoujo and Shounen anime have similar conventions, doesn't mean I should like it.

It's like saying: comics and manga are similar. If you like manga, you must also enjoy comics.

NO. No.

They have similar conventions, but, they are different enough to be lumped in as one and the same.

Just like Shounen and Shoujo.

Just like MHA and Sailor Moon.

I am not saying I'm never going to watch MHA or any other Shounen anime. I just don't see myself watching it at the moment.
