I walked up to my room and then Laura came to the door 5 minutes later.

"Mya, go downstairs, mum wants to talk to you" She yelled through my door

"Ugh, fine" I yelled back

I got up off my desk chair and I heard a knock on my door so I said while going to open the door "Laura, I'm just coming-" I opened the door and saw Tom standing there

"Hey," He said while putting his hands in his pockets

"What do you want?" I replied

"To talk," He said while pushing past me to go into my room

I closed the door and slowly turned around and said: "So now you want to talk to me, what about the past year when you just ignored me and the fact that you had left, without telling me and as soon as you come back, well whenever it was, you ignore me and not even a call or a text to let me know that you are okay, also I tried calling you and you just ignored my calls and put me through to voicemail and you expect me to talk to you, well think again tom because does it look like I want to talk to you?" I yelled

"I'm sorry, Mya, please hear me out"

"You want me to hear you out?! What did I just say to you tom? Did you hear anything I just said? Or was I just talking for the sake of it?"

I looked at him and he looked like he could just blow any minute. To be honest, I did just yell at him so that might fuel it a bit more.

"You know what Mya, I was working. As you can tell now that you've seen the movie that I was in, you can see what I did. I couldn't tell you anything as I had signed a contract and when you rung me I couldn't pick up as I was on set, so I'm sorry okay"

Silence.

"I'm just going to leave and maybe we can talk about this another day, okay" He looked at me like he was on the verge of tears

"Okay," I said quietly

He walked out and closed the door behind him. I pulled my legs up and rested my chin on my knees and let that lonely tear fall down my face.

That could have been my only chance to talk to him again and I could have just screwed it up. You're really clever, Mya, really clever

I wiped the tear from my eye and walked to the window as I just saw Tom walking into his room. He looked through the window straight at me and wiped his eyes on the sleeve of his hoodie and walked away.

Really clever aren't you
