HERMIONE POV
"I can't believe it, you're bloody serious. You're also bloody mental Draco. Bloody mental," I whisper yell as we apparate, landing in the crowd of witches, wizards, and creatures.
"I've never been more serious about anything in my whole live Mi," Draco looks me straight in the eyes and smiles. I feel my face get warm. "Watch this and stay right here." Draco positions me in front of the fountain statue of the big wizard at the center of the ministry.
"Where are you going?" I ask him, but he starts to walk away and the crown envelopes him until I can no longer see him. I do what I am told and I stay put in front of the fountain. Seconds later, Draco is standing on top of the statues.
"Attention ministry workers and visitors," Draco's voice booms over the crowds and the noise dies down. All eyes are on Draco. "I am Draco Malfoy. I have recently met my soulmate and I love her. She's right here in front of me and I want to ask her a question," Suddenly Draco is gone. Then he apparates behind me. "Hermione Granger, will you make me the happiest Malfoy around and marry me?" He pulls out a small bright blue sapphire ring and kneels before me.
"Y-yes! Oh, of course, I will you prat. You didn't have to take me here to do so," I smile and Draco slips the ring on my finger. The ministry crowd cheers. Draco stands up and kisses me.
