Authors note: in the original Ugly dolls film towards the end of the movie Lou explained how he was a prototype. I bring that up again in this chapter but instead of him just being a prototype he is more of a machine, it was a little change i made to help the plot progress.
Thank you for reading this far and I hope you enjoy.

On the way to Lous cell, Mandy couldn't stop thinking about how she would show everyone how Lou had changed, would she get them all together and make Lou say a speach, no that would be too forced. She could take them all to meet him one by one, no it would feel to much like an interview. While Mandys thoughts ran rampant she didn't realize she was nearing the door. when she looked up it was inches away from hitting her face. Mandy almost felt a feeling of glee when she unlocked and pushed the door open. she wanted to see Lou again, and talk and hang out, to her he was the highlight of her day And she took pride in knowing that she was the highlight of his, even if the only reason for that was because he stayed in a cell all day.

Mandy stepped into the room, the moment she had opened the door she was intoxicated by the smell of freshly shampooed hair. Lou stood in front of the mirror with his side facing her. It was like he was a statue gazing at his own reflection.
"Look at me" Lou said, he knew It was her, he didn't even have to turn his head. "Anyone would think i am perfect" his white shirt was transparent from the dripping of his wet hair onto his clothes. His suit jacket lied neatly on the bed behind him. Mandy stepped closer, seeing his reflection in the mirror. His bangs were mangled, at least four of his shirt buttons were undone. He looked rugged, it was a look Mandy didn't normaly associate with Lou.

Mandy wanted to say hi, or just anything at all, but she couldn't find the words. "The truth is, i was never perfect, but i still told everyone to strive for perfection." He paused for a moment before continuing
"I was a hypocrite...and now look at me. Everyone hates me, im an outcast." Mandy couldnt believe what she was hearing. Lous voice shook but he carried on speaking, it was like he was more talking to himself than anyone.

"Do you know that you're my only visitor, i mean how sad is that. They've all left me here and forgotten." Finely Mandy descided to speak "that's not true, we do remember you and we miss you." Lou scoffed "if only" he remained still, besides the shaking of his shoulders. "I never had any real friends, but how could I, I always pushed them away" Lou then began to speak in less like whispering a secret to himself and more like
Stating a cruel fact, his voice grew in ferocity. "I was so afraid of everyone finding out about me so I pushed them all away, and now that they know they still hate me!" Lou clenched his teeth "I envied all of them so much, they would never know the feeling of going through life never having the hope of being loved!" It was as if a storm was rising up in him and and finely he was letting the thunder roar. "The only purpose for a doll is to be loved by a child, so if i can never be loved then why am I even here! WHY AM I EVEN ALIVE!"

Lous anger was to much, he couldnt keep it in anymore. He kicked the mirror shattering his perfect reflection. Glass scattered everywhere, a piece even cut his cheek befor it plummeted to the floor.
He took loud deep breaths, and his eyes looked almost...deranged.
for a moment she was afraid, not for herself but for him.

Taking a deep breath she took one step closer. "Your being to hard on yourslef" she said tryimg to act as calm as she could. "Anyone has the ability and deserves to be loved, no matter who or...what they are."
Lou softly made a despairing chuckle.
"I ran a simulation of the gauntlet test by myself over and over again, but each time i always failed, i will never be able to be loved by a child."
"Dont say that!" Mandy yelled back at him, Lou faced her "why! Because you think i actually stand a chance!"

He bent down and took a large shard of glass into his hand and without hesitation he cut a gash into his forearm from the wrist down. Mandy looked away she couldn't stand watching it, Lou then threw the shard onto the ground and it shattered into even more pieces. He then said "Look at me..." but Mandy didn't lift her gaze
"LOOK AT ME!"
He yelled at an unthinkable level. Mandy jolted and finely looked, he stood, arms stretched out. The cut in his arm revealed wires and metal...it was hideous. He continued "this Is what i am, im a machine all metal and wire on the inside." Tears began to fill his blue eyes, creating an ocean of rage and torment. They started to stream down his face "tell me again! Look me in the eye and tell me that a child can love this thing that i am." Mandy remained silent
"TELL ME!" He screamed at her.

A piece of him trully hoped that she would say something,anything...but she didnt utter a word. He looked into her eyes and saw a debilitating fear. He had done this, he had scared her and now she would leave him in the dark, alone just like the others. He turned his face away in shame. His nose was running so he wiped it with his sleave and sniffles like a child after his tantrum.
"I apologise, i shouldn't have yelled at you, i frightened you and I'm sorry." He took a deap breath "Now you know how ugly i can be...now you know the ugly truth...So go, leave me...just like everyone else." Mandy, for a moment didn't move and Lou wished that she would stay. She opened her mouth to say something, but then bit her lip and held back. She turned around on her heal to walk away, she turned the door handle, slowly opened the door, and without looking back she closed it.

Lou was left crying.
Alone.
In the dark.
"Farwell my almost friend." He whispered to the darkness around him, as it all faded to
Black.
