Hello readers,

I'm back! Here's chapter 20. I hope you like it.

I woke the next morning, this time remembering I shared a bed with Josh. I turned slowly to find him still fast asleep. How was it that he still looked perfect even while he slept?

"You're staring," he stated.

How did he know that?

"I was just checking to see if you were awake," I explained innocently.

"Nope, I'm still asleep," he said, gently grabbing me around the waist and pulling me toward his chest.

"Josh let go," I said giggling.

"Shh."

"Seriously, we should get up," I said. As much as I would have loved to stay in bed with Josh all day I also knew it was impossible. Tonight was the ceremony. Plus, I didn't want anyone thinking Josh and I were participating in certain activities that we weren't.

"Alright," he groaned, reluctantly letting me go and rolling out of the bed.

Once he was out of the bed I quickly noticed his bare chest. "Do you always sleep without a shirt on?"

"Yes. I get hot at night." Josh stated. He gave me a cocky smile before adding, "why? Does it bother you?"

I blushed crimson. "No"

I quickly snatched my clothes out of my suitcase and ran to the bathroom to shower and change.

Once Josh and I had both showered, separately, and changed our clothes, we made our way downstairs toward the kitchen.

"Good morning," Nathan greeted, sitting at the kitchen table.

"Morning," I said.

"How did you sleep?"

"Just fine, thank you," I said simply trying not to look embarrassed.

"I can make you two breakfast. What would you like?" he asked springing up from the table.

"No, it's fine. I can make my own, just show me where everything is," I insisted.

"Or I can make you something," Josh suggested.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Do you like omelets?"

I nodded.

Josh glided around the kitchen gathering all the ingredients. I sat with Nathan at the table but kept glancing over to watch him work.

"How long have you two been together?" Nathan asked breaking my stare.

"Two months," I informed him.

"Really? I would have guessed longer," Nathan stated.

"It feels like it sometimes. We've been through a lot."

"The worst being when she found out about me being a werewolf," Josh said, setting an omelet down in front of me. "Let's just say it didn't go so well."

"You have to give me more details," Nathan insisted.

I retold the whole story to him, slightly condensed but giving the main points.

"Wow," Nathan said in shock. "So not only do you find out your boyfriend is a werewolf but your father as well."

"Now you understand."
