Chapter 3: Two Sides of Xander Montelivijo

Lean couldn't recognize it at first but Xander was different from the other man. He knows how to take care all the things that surrounds him. He is the man that is approachable to all. Everyone loves him very much. Even her! She doesn't know why she thinks that way but surely this is her feeling right now. In just a short time Lean learned to love Xander. And when she tried to search any information about Xander, she discovered that all her thoughts were true. But she was more curious about the life of Xander so she asked someone to give her some more information's. She wanted to know why his eyes filled of loneliness.

FLASH BACK....

"A great leader pointed out, the one that she spoke." A man that is honest. His attitude was really far from the exceeding previous leaders. She asked with an old woman whom she knew that she have known everything about the past life of Xander.  She knew that this woman can answer her questions about the life of Xander because she knew that this woman know much more on those period of time.

She heard also that Xander was an illegitimate son of his father. Xander's mother was being raped by his father.' Continued with the old woman."When the curse imposed to all. The only person who can break us free is only Xander, the one next in hire." And no one else would ever inherit the throne reserved only for Xander, nothing else.....Continued with the old woman.

While her, she felt pity for Xander.

"Doesn’t he have a brother that will inherit the throne to become the Datu?"-she asked

"Yes he has one brother". His elder brother to be exact but the prophecy said that Xander should only gain the throne and be the next in hire.

She gradually understands now these things about him.

"Where's the brother of Xander now? She said.

'I do not know. No one knows his disappearance. Maybe he go and runaway after knowing the content of the prophecy. ‘The old women twitch her shoulder after she said it.

"His life was very miserable. And since his father learned early because of that prophetic messenger, that no one of us knows who it was. I have not seen it in personal, because it's personal and mysterious to know it.

He took his father the poor child relentless with his mother. And the poor kid does not even give a single love. His father only thinks that he is nothing but a dump person.

And only think that he was a tool for breaking the curse. And the poor mother never to see her son after that. His father forbids him not to go and see his mother. So what he did was he secretly fled. But he always caught and punished too much. She said in a long explanation for it.

"The worst thing was that he feels in love with someone. A girl that was no relationship with us and it said to the prophecy that only the right girl will be the one whom he should marry and that's you." she said pointing out to her.

"Because of him the life of the girl turns in dangered. It was not intended to happen, but still because of that greedy father of him those tragic incident happened.

At that moment she doesn’t know why she feels jealous to that girl. Maybe if Xander had a choice. Maybe that woman was his choice for his life time partner and not her.

She only regains her senses when Xander was already in her room. Her mind was so vacant from that moment and she did not even know what to do for herself. God what should I do~~~she prayed' then Xander look at her with a confused in his eyes.
