Chapter 4: The Night of My Engagement

"Are you ok?" Xander try to get the attention of Lean. 

Her thoughts are flying somewhere.

OH She almost forgot that this day is her engagement party with Xander. The man that was in her side all the time. Starting that day, which someone occur her in attempting her to kill? Xander was ready to watch her all over; he reasoned out that it was because of her safeness why did he do that. Every day he always be her in her side checking if Lean was OK. He didn't want that Lean would lose on his sight even if he has lot things to do. He always made sure that she has a protector all the time, which she has a guard to look for her.

"Ahmm, yes. I just can't believe that it is our engagement and it’s really wonderful" she said.

The mansion was well dress for that occasion. There’s a lots of people are there, even poor people are also invited to be there too. Xander really intended that all people that live there will see their engagement.

For the people who attend and see how happy they were.

Sometimes she thought that she might be very kind person and even though she was still no boyfriend since birth but God gave Xander to her who will nourish her anytime. Even if Xander don't love her but she will do everything just to be with Xander no matter what happen. Now Xander and her are celebrating their engagement party and she couldn't believe that it was really happening. She's been here for almost a weeks, just imagine how long it was to stay here. Indeed she was very happy.

She looks like a woman tonight. Lean dress is very elegant. She was wearing a black dress that fit to her white skin. This is here first time to dress like a sophisticated woman. Her makeup was not totally dark but just a light one matching with the red lipstick. Her hair was fixed too elegant and fit to her personalities. She looks perfect tonight. Her high heel is not totally high but to perfect for her. She looks like a princess.

But she was too nervous at that moment because of her engagement party. Soon she will Wed to this man by her side and he looks more handsome for his tuxedo dress.

"You’re so beautiful lean" Xander is looking to Lean when he said those words that it made Lean tremble at that moment.

"Just stop teasing me like that" she said trying to hide her red face.

"No, I'm telling you the truth" he said with a smile.

She missed this feeling; all along no man would ever turn to her with so much happiness until Xander gave that privilege to her while she lives there. And she knows that every time Xander was in her side she felt safe. That everything turns to right. They were both laughing then.

They were walking to the middle of the red carpet where all prominent and the poor people are looking at them. They were both happy. But Lean doesn’t know why she could feel nervous to her heart.

"What are you thinking now? He said

“Are you still thinking to our wedding?"

"No, it’s not that"-she said

"I'm thinking to our future (pause) to the both of us." she replied.

“I know it’s hard on you, but this is for my people and I'll do anything just for them, right?" he said.

"Yes I got it, don’t worry it just that I'm too nervous of how I should entertain them." she lied. The truth that she was too nervous more and more. While they are walking to the whole way she doesn’t know why; why she feels this feeling. She feels as if, this man will lose like a bubble to her. 

Xander gave an introduction speech to all.

All are celebrating with that wonderful night.

But suddenly theirs two people who are not expected to come in short their not invited.
