Chapter 8: Meeting a Good Friend

"Xander POV"

I'm here inside my room wondering what went wrong. Honestly today was a very weird day that I encountered and it seems that, I don't know what should I believe for? I'm curious and disappointed at myself for what happened. I thought my problem will be vanish upon having Lean in my side but I was wrong for Laika is there...oh.. My poor laika.

Laika was the girl in the past. The one I promised of forever but I don't understand why she's here..Why she's here. I thought she's dead. I thought I'm goanna lose her forever. And something wrong in my heart I didn't feel anything towards her.

Am I a jerk or what?  She's Laika the one I promised of forever but how come I didn't feel special to the one that I face awhile ago. One thing that bothers me most was when my brother was there to Laika and it really sound so weird. I know my brother is not that kind of typical person who will help me in this situation but why now? I really don't understand this thing. My mind  say that  I should believe what  they said, but  my heart felt that I don't want to trust them..

"Don't you want to believe in my words?" suddenly l gasp for the dark fairy is here... 

I manage to vow at her even though l have confusions in my mind but still l wanted to settle her first before anything else for she is our god in this land. But in my heart there something about her that I don't believe too.

"How are you? Am I disrupting your thoughts? Oh common Xander what was the proof that you want to believe that Laika now is the Laika in the past?  I mean Laika deserve to be treated equally.. She deserves it, for she’s your girlfriend.... I mean your past girlfriend right? The dark fairies convince Xander.

"In other words she has the authority to be with you, to live in this castle." "You have to decide now and one more thing, if you forbid this competition to the both two ladies they will both die. Because that is the condition for the prophecy. The one in the prophecy girl which is Lean and the one whom you promised which is Laika..."

“What do you mean?" Xander said in confuse

“Let me finish first. Xander this two ladies will be your future' since you promise Laika to marry. I fulfilled your request because you are the future king in this land." but.... the sad thing here is Lean is there. She was the girl in the prophecy so that means, they need to fight for you... and the one who win in the end will be your bride that's it. 

"What if Lean, doesn't want to fight?"

"She will die.......''and she knows that.

Xander stop for a moment

“I bet I explained everything to you the importance of it right Xander? So I guess I need to go. The dark fairy said while exiting. 

 Even though he still so confused but then he needs to decide now, for the goodness of everybody.

And that’s to let Laika enter to his world. Even though some would say it's not the smartest decision but what can he do for this matter? It's the future of his people and the one that he love's is at stake here. That's it. I need to plan for the best for everybody.

Lean wake up early in the morning. She wants to see the sunshine outside in this castle. She decided to take for a walk wishing that what happened yesterday will give her more positive energy at least.  

She wanted to ignore the thoughts of her mind but...but she couldn't ignore it for this is her future. Whether she will stay here or not. All of it will depends if she will win the competition or not but she have a doubt on it for she knows that Xander really love Laika that much. But she's not really sure if he did. For he kissed her yesterday and if Andoy don't knock at her door then there's a possibility that they can share something...something that a married couple only get a chance to do it. She blush for that thought. She knew that he respect her as a woman but at times like that she don't know also that if he touch her, she cannot guarantee if she can also control herself.
