"Taraji POV"

At her Restaurant

Next Day

So ever since dinner last night, I haven't been the same at all. I've been thinking about Terrence all night.

I've been sitting in my office since I left Travis at my place this morning and that was at about 6am.

I just can't seem to shake him from my thoughts at all.

I tried doing some paper work but that didn't work either so now I'm just scrolling through Twitter to pass time.

"Ms Henson, I have something new for you to try." Chef Gary came into my office this morning promising something new and fresh before the day ends and as always he kept his promise.

I got up from my chair and walked behind him as he lead me to the kitchen.

I walked in and the most delicious looking desert sat on the counter waiting for me to try.

I got a spoonful and moaned as it hit my taste buds.

"This is so good! What's in it?" I asked as I wiped my mouth with the napkin

"Its vanilla cake with a chocolate mousse filling. And strawberry toppings." He said

"This will definitely sell, its so good. Good job." I high fived him and he bowed down playfully in front of me

"Okay so all you have to do now is add it to the menu and finalise with John so that it can be added to all the other restaurants." I told him

"Yes ma'am, I am on it." He said

"Alright then, I'm gonna go and get Charles to set up for later on okay. Call me if you need anything else." I said and he nodded

I made my way to the front of the restaurant and checked on Alicia at the till.

"Everything going smoothly today?" I asked

"Yes ma'am, going great so far." She said and I gave her a thumbs up and got Charles before going outside to meet Susan

She pulled up as soon as I got there since I told her it was an emergency.

"Hey I came as soon as I could. What's wrong?" She asked as she gave me a hug

"Sus everything is wrong." I whined as we made our way inside and to my office

"What is up with you?" She asked and I told her to sit down

"I had dinner with Travis's family last night." I said

"I know but what's the big deal though?" She was confused as hell

"His brother." Was all I said

"What about his brother Raji? You're not making any sense right now." She said all at once

"Terrence is his brother Sus." I told her and she gasped
