The night Terrence left

"You get your ass back home right now Travis Howard." Evelyn demanded over the phone

As soon as our eldest son left she called our second eldest to have a word with him.

He seemed to know what it was about because he simply told his mother to calm down and just go with the flow.

She couldn't do that though because she wanted answers.

And she wanted them now.

Me on the other hand I'm shocked, disappointed and confused right now.

Aaliyah is alive and pregnant despite us being at her funeral.

We saw the body and everything. How could she do that to us?

And Travis knew because ever since her death he has been living in Los Angeles.

I don't know how he managed to get away with this. And he hid it from us for so long.

What makes it even worse is that he got a girlfriend as a cover up. And then cheated on her while she did the same with his brother of all people making my son cheat on his wife.

This is so messed up.

I don't really care about everything that's going on and neither does Yara.

She's sitting next to me on the couch while we listened to her mother rant over the phone. Cursing her brother out.

"Mom is crazy." She blurted while our eyes haven't left the TV screen for a second

"You only notice that now. You'd say I'm the one that cheated on her with the way she's acting." I said and she agreed nodding at me 

"You think she'll accept Taraji into the family when push comes to shove?" She asked me

"Sweety your mother says a lot of things but she really likes Taraji. I think she's just upset because of the way things happened." I answered

"You think Taraji and Terrence make a cute couple too huh?" She smiled

"To be honest I always thought Kelly was wrong for your brother. And they were arguing a whole lot without us even knowing. Hell your brother ended up in hospital because of her." She gasped

"She's the reason he was in hospital??" I nodded

"Yip he told me everything. They had an argument and she hit him with a candle holder. He told me when I went to visit him that night. Guess who I saw leaving though?" I smirked ready to spill what I've been holding in all this time

Evelyn is going to be so mad I kept it from her but I honestly wanted to see what would happen in the long run before spilling what I've noticed while being the quiet dad around this house.

"Who dad?" She asked turning to me tearing her eyes away from the TV for the first time since we put it on

"None other than Taraji." I said and she gasped
