6 Months later...

Hey guys, I am currently 8 months pregnant and I feel like complete shit.

This pregnancy has been a total pain in my ass. I can't wait to give birth.

Terrence and I decided that we're going to get married after I give birth because the stress of planning a wedding is not something he wanted me to deal with.

Shortly after finding out the gender of our baby he proposed to me and I obviously said yes. It was so beautiful. It was one of our many date nights and he decided to take me to one of my favourite restaurants.

I was puzzled when we walked in and we were the only ones there.

After having an amazing dinner he pretended to drop his fork and since I wasn't paying him any attention because of the desert in front of me he had the time to pull out the ring and get on both of his knees beside my chair. His words were engraved into my heart that night

'Flashback'

"Terrence what are you doing?" I asked looking around before my eyes landed on him again

The lights had dimmed and soft music now played, my favourite song by Luther Vandross and Beyonce The Closer I Get To You

"Taraji baby, since that day I met you. I've been the happiest man in the world. You came into my life under strange circumstances. You helped me with one of my phobias as if you were a doctor." He said with a smile "I'll never forget that day we met. You made fun of me because I said I ran away from home and you made fun of me saying that I was a grown ass man living off of my mama." I laughed at that and so did he "but despite our difficulties and breaking up 10 times we found ourselves back together again just like we always do." He said looking into my eyes "I love you so much Taraji, words can't even describe this feeling inside of my body. I've never felt this way about another person in my entire life." He said with his hand on his heart "I can't live without you, I want you to only leave me if I give you a valid reason to. I want to wake up next to you every single day and go to sleep with you at night. I want to be the person you run to for everything. Your happy place when you're sad and your place of safety when you feel like nothing in the world can protect you." At this point tears are running down my face, 4 months pregnant and hormones all over the damn place "So Taraji Penda Henson will you do me the honours of being my soulmate and my wife? Baby will you marry me?" His eyes stared up into mine as he held the beautiful diamond ring in his hands

I nodded because the words were unable to come out of my mouth.

"Yes?" He asked

"Yes Terrence I'll marry you." I said and cheers erupted around us

There stood my parents and even my aunts and uncles with my cousins that I haven't seen in forever. Along with Terrence's huge family including his grandmother that I absolutely adore. She's one wise women that I love so much.

They all clapped as Terrence slid the ring onto my finger and placed a passionate kiss on my lips with his hands caressing the sides of my face as my hands went around his neck while he leaned up a bit from his position on the floor

"How did you do all of this?" I asked after we pulled away from each other

"I'm Terrence Howard baby, I have my ways." He said and I rolled my eyes at my conceited fiancé
