Oliver's pov
My mom walks in the door looking tired. It's already 3? I look at her and she frowns when she sees me. School doesn't end until 3:30 so she knows I skipped. This is normal but at least I don't have blood on my hands.
"Hey mum," I say and get of the couch and go into the kitchen before she does and start to clean. She's stressed with work and me, cleaning isn't something she needs to worry about.
"Love sweetie, why are you home?" She asks worry laced her voice. She sits down on a chair and faces me waiting for an answer.
"You know that preppy boy I talked about the other day?" I ask knowing she does. I've talked about kellin to her a lot actually. But more in a bad way..
"Yeah, the boy who is rude to you. Oh god you didn't fight him did you?" She says getting more upset.
"No mum, drama happened in school and he ended up beating up a guy who harasses him," I explain as I wipe the counters with some paper towels.
"But that doesn't explain why your here," she states and I realize I forgot she even asked. I throw away the paper towel and grab our broom and start sweeping.
"He left school so I followed to make sure he was okay and he's upstairs sleeping now," I say point up. The little dust and dirt now forming in a little pile. I bend down and sweep it into the dust pan and throw it away.
I glance at my mum and she's watching me. I put the broom up and sit down on another chair facing her. She looks like shes thinking. My mum is a beautiful woman with black hair, some strands might be a bit gray but it suits her.
She has green eyes unlike me but they are dark like mine. "You like him?" She asks making me stop and look at her. I've never told her I was gay and I've only brought girlfriends home. She doesn't know I have had a boyfriend before.
"What?" I ask making sure she means what I think.
"You never talk about anyone unless you like them, you never bring someone here unless you like them. Admit it, you like him don't you," she says and I blush. She knows me so well, but I refuse to give in.
"No, he was locked out of his house so we came here. I talked about him because he's so.. different. He like rules the school and I think that's weird," I say trying to justify myself.
She nods with a smile. She doesn't believe me, ugh. "Is he staying for dinner?" She asks me something I don't know. I look at the time just to look at it and then her.
"I'm not sure, he didn't eat lunch because we came here before class even started but he fell asleep pretty much instantly. So I'm sure he'll be hungry when he wakes up," I say and she nods before getting up.
"I'm going to take a shower and then read a bit then I'll cook- spaghetti? Would you rather cheese pizza?" She changes her mind. I'm vegetarian so she doesn't buy meat unless it's just for her.
I want to be vegan but then I couldn't eat pizza so I'm not going to do that. "Yeah, sounds good. Oh and tomorrow I'm going to go to the tattoo shop," I inform her and she rolls her eye.
I have tattoos on my legs, torso, and my arms but I've been wearing long sleeves and pants so nobody at school knows. But tomorrow I'm getting a rose on my neck, I'm so excited for it.
I go upstairs quietly and open my door, he's still asleep. I grab my pink shirtsleeved ghost shirt, I love this shit. I'm surprised I haven't worn it to school yet. I take off my shirt tossing it into my dirty laundry hamper. After I'm down putting the shit on I go around my room cleaning it a bit. Its already pretty clean so it's just me straightening some stuff up.
