Chapter 9

ZAIRE'S POV

"Here you are Han" I said, helping my little cousin out of the car and onto the porch of her friend's house. It was a pretty good house, white walls and a mediun porch with flowers on the sides of the lawn

"Thank you Jayie!" She exclaimed and hugged my leg

Hannah went and hugged her friend, then the two immediately went inside. I looked at the mother of Hannah's friend

"Thank you so much Ms. Keisha, I'm very grateful that you accept my sister coming over" I said with a smile

"Oh don't worry about it, Vivia really likes having her around" she said with a smile. "Are you sure you don't wanna come in?"

"I'd love to, but I have to take my uncle to his appointment"

"Such a nice young man you are. Alright, be careful" she spoke to me

I drove Cyrus to the mall we had planned to go to, almost months now. I couldn't bring Hannah, sadly... she'd just want every toy she sees

"Is this the shop?" Cyrus asked me as I walk into the bookstore I brought Kory to last time, seeing all the books that were limited edition. Today had a sale and I wanted to buy Kory a present

"Yup... And that's the one I want to buy for my boyfriend to be" I said as I walk up to the shelf, sighing heavily as I took in the set of double books into my arms. "This is so expensive..."

"Why are you doing all this for him? Does he mean that much to you?" Cyrus asked me as he looked around for a book or two

"Because I like him, and I want to be with him, and... Well the same way you'd do it for aunt Cass" I said following him around like a puppy following his owner

"Fair enough..." He said, finally picking a book and walked with me to the cashier

I place the book set on the counter, and I took out my wallet, and I put one hundred thousand on the counter. I sigh, placing the birthday money I got from Cyrus and my aunt last year. I look at the cashier scanning my book and Cyrus'

I walk out with the set in a plastic bag, and I walk down the busy floors with Cyrus, and I saw a phone service shop. "I'll be right back" I said to Cyrus, then walked over to the shop

"Hi how can I help?" The guy there asked

"How much for a screen repairment?" I asked him

"One fifty, two hundred for an extra case and tempered glass"

"Oh... Nothing cheaper?" I asked with a defeated sigh

"That's the cheapest you'll get, sorry" He said

"Alright, I'll come back to you when I got the money. Thanks" I said before going back to Cyrus. "So what's next on our list?"

"Do you mind if we go shopping for pants? I need something formal" Cyrus said to me

"Yeah, sure" I said and followed my uncle to whichever shop he would be buying his pants. I watch people walk around, and I occasionally help him pick out one that was the best

"Uncle I don't think this one is the right fit..." I heard a familiar voice say, the voice I least expected to hear

I turn around, seeing a familiar Kory with a tall and muscular man in a suit looking at him. I couldn't believe my eyes, and I don't know what to be surprised by more. The fact that Kory was here, or that this mob-boss looking man was with him. He looked hot too! With grey hair slicked back and a thin goatee placed on his chizzled jaw, he looked so hot!
