Chapter three: Love is Dangerous (The case)

"Miss, are you okay?" I asked the girl who's been shaking because of what she saw.

We are on the parking lot. I tried my best to calm this girl while Alistair, Jamie, and Loki are investigating the man's body that rested on the wall while there are numerous stab on his chest. What a great view..

The group of people walked towards us. They are police, I think?

"I'm Inspector Smithson, and this is Arena and Justin, they are detectives." pagpapakilala ng matanda'ng lalaki.

"And we are high school detectives.." said Loki then look at the three person in front of us. "So we will investigate this crime and close this case."

"Pero mga bata pa kayo kaya wala kayong karapatan na paki-alaman ito." ang sabi ng babae na nagngangalan na Arena.

"Well, just let us show you what we really got, okay? All you have to do is to assist the four of us or just watch us." Jamie said with crossed arms.

"Who are you, by the way?" tanong ng lalaki. If I'm not mistaken, he is Justin.

"Why don't you asked the Inspector?" said I.

"Yeah, since he alredy know us." pagsang-ayon sakin ni Alistair.

The two gives questioning look at Inspector Smithson but he just sighed and nodded at me, telling that I should explain it.

I took a deep breath before speaking, "Well, obviously, he's going to make us get out of the crime scene if he really didn't know about us. If you are thinking that how he recognized the four of us 'cause I think, because he's reading my blog. And also, he will not introduce the two of you including himself if he don't know about us nor about Q.E.D Club." mahabang paliwanag ko.

Napatingin ang dalawa sa kinarooonan ng inspector kaya napatango na lang ito bilang pagsasabi na tama ang lahat ng sinabi ko.

Then Justin clap his hand slowly before saying, "You are skilled, young lady. So please, introduce yourself."

"Lorelei Rios."

"What do I have to call you then? Lei-Lei?"

Biglang napawi ang ngiti ko. Sina Jamie at Alistair naman ay halatang nagpipigil ng tawa habang si Loki ay ganun parin.

I clenched my fist, closed my eyes and take a deep breath. When I look at him (Justin), he continued what he said, "Don't get mad, it sounds good for your skills." then he smiled. I secretly rolled my eyes.

"Then how about the three of you?" tanong ni Arena.

"Loki Mendez." said he with his usual face.

"Jamie Santiago." of course, there's a smile plastered on her face.

"Alistair Ravena." my childhood friend nodded with a small smile as a sign of respect.

"Since we already know each other, let's start our interrogation." napatingin ako sa katabi ko. He rolled his eyes on me before saying, "Our suspects are those who owned this four cars." he read my mind again. He then look at the two detectives in front of us, "Will you find the owners of this cars?" tinuro niya pa ang apat na kotse, dalawa sa kanan at dalawa sa kaliwa at nasa gitna naman ang victim. Tumango ang dalawa at agad na umalis.

Si Inspector Smithson naman ay tumawag ng ambulansiya. Si Loki naman ay naglibot pa at syempre, sumama si Jamie. Hindi naman na bago yun eh.

"Miss, what is your relationship between the victim?" Alistair asked the girl we found earlier.
