(Valentine's Special) Chapter five: Jealous?

Another info? That's too fast, parang kahapon lang niya sinabi ang plano ni Moriarty na patayin ang isa sa amin.

After that, I got outside my room and headed to kitchen. I saw Loki sitting on the with his elbow on the table and reading one of his book. Lumapit ako at kinalabit siya, "What do you want to eat?"

"You decide." he simply answered, while me just nodded.

I get the ingredients I needed on the refrigerator as I started to cook fried chicken. Balak ko kasing mag-tinola kaso walang patola, kaya ipi-prito ko na lang. After cooking, I prepared a two plate for the both of us as I put the fried chicken on the table. Umupo ako at nagsandok ng kanin, hinayan ko na siya ang magsandok ng sa kaniya niya.

Habang kumakain, walang nagsalita kahit isa sa amin. Me busy watching him eat, habang siya naman ay mukhang halimaw na hindi kumain ng isang linggo. I rarely---to be honest, I NEVER see him eat like this. First time pa lang ito eh. Gusto ko sana kuhanan ng video o kahit picture man lang para may ebidensiya pero magagalit lang iyan eh.

"You don't need to take video nor picture for evidence. Tandaan mo na lang ang mukha ko." I blushed, wala naman akong photographic memory-- "Wala naman akong sinabi na may retentive memory ka. I mean, just remember my face. Your not suffering from memory loss, are you?" I didn't answer him, instead, I look at my plate and awkwardly take the spoon inside my mouth.

Hindi ko naman sinabi na basahin niya ang isip ko.

NEXT DAY

"Are you going on date?" Loki asked, hindi ko inaasahan.

I raised my left eyebrow, "And what makes you think that?"

He lowered his book and look directly on my eyes, "Sa suot mo."

If you wondering what I looks like, I just wear red long sleeve shirt, black pants, and whit rubber shoes. As for my hair, it's usual. And I don't put any make-up on my face. Hindi naman kasi ako makikipag-date. I will just see Luthor to know another information about Moriarty's general.

"I will go somewhere, gonna meet up someone." paalam ko sa aking flatmate. "If you want some food, just ask tita Martha or pa-delivery ka na lang."

"Why? Magtatagal ka ba?" he asked, still not leaving his eyes on me. I just shrugged my shoulder. "And who is that someone your talking?"

"Wag na maraming tanong. Mauna na ako." before I step my foot outside our unit, he called me.

"Lorelei," I watch him getting closer on me. Our face is really close to each other, konti na lang, mahahalikan na niya ako. Laking pasalamat ko nang bumaba ang tingin niya.  He opened my sling bag and put inside the stun pen he gave to me. After that, tumingin ulit siya sa mga mata ko at nagdikit ang aming ilong, "Take care."

That's the only thing he said as he walked towards his room with his book on his hand.

After some second of absorbing all the things he did, I feel my cheeks are burning.

"So you want me to take the position of white bishop then take down the black bishop, wich is Augustus Moran?" he nodded, as I continue. "But that's not easy, Luthor."
