After getting ready for bed Kamri decided to FaceTime Layla just to see what she was planning to tell Graham at school.

Layla picked up the call in less than 30 seconds and Kamri smiled widely when she saw the look on Layla's face. Layla looked genuinely really happy and it was probably the happiest Kamri had seen her in a long time.

"Hey Kam, why are you calling so late at night?" Layla asked with a huge smile on her face.

"I just was curious to what you're going to tell Graham at school tomorrow." Kamri replied returning the smile.

Layla's eyes widened, "I uh, I haven't thought about it! Kamri what do I say?!" Kamri could tell Layla was being genuine.

"Just be honest with him, tell him how scared you were and don't leave a single thing out. Tell him everything you've told me." Kamri reassured Layla.

"Kamri you have such good advice! You should really use it for yourself!" Layla said after a few seconds of silence.

"I would but you know, all the guys I've dated are jerks and I'm just starting to think all guys are. Besides Graham and some of the Anne cast of course."

"I can think of one boy that isn't a jerk and I happen to know you're getting awfully close to him lately." Layla said with a smirk.

"Layla-Mae Jones, no! Dylan and I are just friends and that's all we'll ever be."

"Sure Kamri sure, I used to say that about Graham and now look at me." Layla said with a laugh and Kamri rolled her eyes jokingly.

"That's different Layla, you were probably just trying to protect your feelings but I'm being honest. Dylan and I ARE just friends!"

"Okay Kamri, whatever you say." Kamri ignored this comment.

"So have you figured out what you're going to say?" Kamri asked to avoid replying to what Layla just said.

"Yes and you're not going to find out until tomorrow, at school." Layla answered.

Kamri pouted, "Aw come on, I'm your best friend!"

"And so is Graham, so you're both going to hear it at the same time." Layla said while still smiling. "I'm really tired so I think it's time to sleep. I'll see you tomorrow Kamri, Goodnight."

"Goodnight." Kamri said in reply then Layla ended the call.
