Aneesah's pov
I woke up with body pains, but after having a bubble bath, I felt the water wash away the pain.
After coming out of the bathroom I dressed then went downstairs just to smell a very spectasulous aroma coming from the kitchen.
"haadi, good morning" I said
"oh my God when did u wake up? U ruined my suprise"he said in a disappointing tone.
"don't worry I'll still eat what ever u cooked"i said
He set the dining table and we began to dig in.
"hope u aren't feeling any pain"haadi asked after we finished eating.
"just a little" I answered
OK wait for me let me go and dress" he said before rushing upstairs.
I decided to keep my self busy by checking my whatsapp messages when I saw a message from an unknown number. At first it didn't catch my eyes, so i ignored it and open fatiha's message.
Hey tweeny, how are you? How is our husband haadi. My regards and have fun.wink wink.
I laughed after reading her message. And then I decided to reply later.
I was about to drop my phone when the same number messaged me again
Salaam!!
Opened the message and it read
Hello ma'am it's humid Khalid. I smiled and remembered the conversation we had yesterday.
Flashbacks
"so humid what do you want to tell me" I asked
"ma'am I wanted to ask you a question about your husband " he said.
"am all ears, but first is he safe?"I asked
"as long as am alive, he isn't" I laughed after he said that.
"so what is it" I asked
"you said he is a good cook"he asked and I nodded.
"have I ever tasted his food, I mean all the food and snacks I eat when I visit"he asked
"no"
"I want to try his food" he said
"that's impossible,are you doubting me"i asked.
"it's not that ma'am"
"then it's what"
"I want to join cooking classes too, I want to be far better than him"he said and I laughed.
"humaid you are unbelievable u want to compete with my husband "I said
"exactly ma'am"he raised his right brow.
"okay fine, let's make a deal"i said
"deal?? "he asked and I nodded
"after you taste his food, I'll be the first to taste yours after you are done with your classes"i said and he smiled widely.
"no problem,i will make sure I prepare something special for you"he said winking.
"okay then what's your favorite food"i asked smiling.
"I like dessert"
"which kind"
"I like cake, blueberry and coconut flavour "he winked
"okay, you will get it tomorrow"he nodded and stood up.
"thanks"he smiled and left
"oh, I forgot to say something" he said as he opened the door again.
"I forgot to say I love you"he winked and left.
God!!! This boy can never change.
End of flashback
"what have you been thinking about madam? "haadi snapped.
"nothing,its just that I have been meaning to ask you where nope was when we went to ammi's house?"I lied but it was kind of true.
"she went for islamiyyaah" he replied
"oh, I missed her so much" I said
"don't worry, I will speak to mama about her, so that during the summer holiday she'll stay with us"he said
"OK no problem and thank you"i said
"let's get going"he said
"Good morning sir and ma'am" malam abubakar greeted us immediately I opened the front door.
"malam Abubakar, good morning to u too" I replied
"pls get my car out for me"haadi said
"oga which one"he asked
"the white Mercedes Benz "haadi said
"what is she thinking about? "haadi said startling me
"ya rabb!!!"I said clutching my chest while he winked.
"you forgot to take the cake"he pointed at his right hand.
"ohh"
I actually didn't forget the cake. I knew he will bring it out.
