Alexander's P.O.V.

"You can get out of the limo now." I told Caroline. She looked up started to hear my voice and realized we had arrived at my mansion. She opened the door to the limo and got out of the car, but stopped short once she saw my house. Her dropped open in shock.
"This is beautiful." She marveled. I snorted.
"Please. I have much bigger ones down in the Caribbean." She whipped her head around to face me, her hair flowing wildly in the wind.
"You have more?" She asked incredulous. I laughed and walked in. She followed right after me. "Your room is down the hall if you want to go see it." I told her.
"Which hall?" Her eyebrow rose in question.
"That one." I gestured to the hall where all the guest rooms were, but she didn't move. I sighed. "Maria! Please show our guest to her room." I told my housekeeper. She nodded and brought Caroline to her room. I looked at my watch and cursed. This had already taken too long. I needed to get a lot of work done. I walked to my home office and took out my laptop and began to work. Nothing like working too many hours a week. Fun.....not.

Caroline's P.O.V.

I followed Alexander's housekeeper or as he called her, Maria. She was a pretty lady with dark brown hair cut just above her shoulders, and a simple frame. Her face had little makeup on it, possibly some lipstick and mascara but that was it. She walked quickly that I had to almost run to keep up with her.
"Here we are." Maria stopped suddenly I ran into her and fell on my butt. "Oh I'm so sorry. Here." Maria held out her hand and I gladly took it. She pulled me quickly and I was surprised at her strength. "You are very light. Do you eat?" She asked me.
"Um yes, but not a lot. I didn't have enough money to make good homemade meals."
"Oh I'm so sorry! How about I make you a delicious lunch. What do you like?" I was surprised by her offer but I didn't turn it down.
"My mother used to make me pasta a lot. Ravioli to be specific." I stammered out.
"Then I will get on that right away. I will come and get you, since you don't know your way around." I smiled widely and thanked her. I entered my room as Maria left and looked at the room in awe.
It was beautiful and just amazing. It was huge, and it was way bigger than my old one. And there was a king sized bed. Yes! I internally screamed. No more falling off the bed for me. I ran to the bed and hopped on it. It was soft and cushiony. I almost fell asleep until I saw my boxes in the room. I opened up one which held my work stuff. The other box had my clothes and shoes in it. As soon as I finished unpacking my stuff, Maria came back in.
"Your meal is finished miss." I smiled and followed her through the winding stair cases all the way to the kitchen. Maria had set up the plate with a glass of water.
"Oh this looks lovely. Thank you so much." I thanked her.
"You are very much welcome. Now I must go and finish some more work. Enjoy dear." I smiled and she left the room, leaving me all alone. I dug into the pasta and took a bite. It was delicious. I swear to god it was probably the best thing I've tasted in my life. If only V was here. She loves ravioli just as much as I do. She'd be dying right now.
I finished the ravioli quickly and picked up the dishes and began washing them. After putting the plate and cup in the dishwasher, I walked around the house. I had never been somewhere so big! It was ginormous. I walked around the halls looking at everything. I was fairly observant and my eyes didn't like to stay in one place unless o was thinking about something deeply. Soon I ran into Alexander. Legit ran into him.
"Oh shoot I'm so sorry sir." I immediately apologized as I stood up. Once I had run into him I fell flat on the floor.
"It is alright. But you do realize you can call me Alexander, right? Just not at work." My face went pink.
"Um of cour si- Alexander. And I am sorry about running into you. I'm just figuring my way around your mansion." I stuttered out.
"Again, it's quite alright. But I have to get going soon. I'm making final plans for this event tomorrow that you will going to as well. As my date. Do not worry I have the outfit already picked out for you.  I will see you tomorrow." Alexander then rushed around the corner. Stunned, I didn't move. Me? At a fancy dinner event? Please! I haven't worn a nice dress in years! Actually I never have. Nor have I been to an event like this. But I knew what he was talking about. It was the red carpet party. Everyone went to it. The whole event always made its way to the tabloids.
I sighed and made my way to my bedroom. That took about an hour. As I entered my room I shut the door. What was I going to do?! There was no way I'd be able to pull this off. I lied down on my bed and stared at the ceiling. Tomorrow would be a long evening.
