Caroline's P.O.V.

I looked at my hands where the pregnancy test lay. It read positive. I was pregnant. I didn't know how to react. What if Alex didn't want kids? What if he didn't love me anymore? So many thoughts surrounded my head until I heard the door opening. I set the test on the counter and walked out of the bathroom. When Alex heard me he looked up and smiled.
     "Hello Princess." He greeted. I laughed at him, but it was more nervous than happy. "Is something wrong?" I swear he can tell whenever I'm upset.
     "No everything's fine. Do you want anything to drink?" I asked. Alex gave me a weird look but shook it off.
     "Um sure." I nodded and we walked to the kitchen. He grabbed a bottle of wine and two glasses.
     "I'm fine. I don't need anything." He gave me a raised eyebrow.
     "Ok what's up with you? I have never seen you turn down a glass of wine. Even if you're sick." I twiddled my thumbs around and refused to look up. "Caroline. Tell what's wrong. I can tell that something is bothering you." He hugged me tightly and I held onto him.
     "Look in the bathroom." I told him. He gave me a skeptical look but I urged him forward. He entered the bathroom and I stood outside the door. A moment later he came out and lifted me in the air. "Alex!" I squealed. He put me back on the floor and stared in my eyes, his eyes had a hopeful look in them.
"Are you really pregnant?" He whispered. I nodded smiling widely as I bit my lip. Alexander crashed his lips onto mine. I leaned into his touch and strung my hands around his neck. Alex pulled away. "I didn't think I could ever love someone as much as I do now." I whispered as he stared in my eyes.
"So you're not upset?" I asked hopeful. His gaze softened.
"Why would I ever be upset? I've wanted to be a dad ever since we've been married." I smiled widely and hugged him tightly. This was it. This is the moment I've dreamed of for so long. And now I couldn't be happier.
