If I Went Somewhere Else

Blue Gem| The Predator. Part 10

I stood up and brushed myself off, grabbing my bag off the floor and throwing it over my shoulder.

"Time to get snooping!" I say aloud to no one in particular.

"Well I suggest you hurry, who knows when your 'boyfriend' will be back." The relic, or Shannon, spoke in a teasing manner.

"He's not my boyfriend, he fucking KIDNAPPED me!" I snapped as I began to look around, headed towards the back of the ship.

There were at least 6 rooms towards the back, and I'm genuinely curious as to what's in them. When I approached one of them, the door automatically opened to what looked like a huge living room. 2 more alien dogs like Casey's lay upon the floor asleep, dead to the world.

"Okay...maybe not in here.." I whispered to myself, stepping away from the doorway which closed it.

I sighed of relief as I could've very well avoided a dangerous situation. Living room out, onto the next rooms. I approach the door across the hallway, it opened to reveal what looked like a weapons vault. Ooooh mama likey! Alien weapons cluttered the walls as I was very tempted to enter, but I know the gem isn't in there. Just doesn't feel right. I sigh, step back while letting the door close and move onto another. Approaching the door beside to the vault door next, it opened to reveal....I don't know really.

There was a custom sized chair like the captain's seat, but it was facing a huge window outside in the wall with a box next to it. Curiosity got the best of me and I walked into the room, noticing some cabinets and cupboards along the wall. Okay...I guess this is like a kitchen? I approached the box next to the chair, seeing a button on it and pressing it. The box hissed and the top split into 2, startling me and taking a step back. A bright light shone out and I stood on my toes to peek inside, there were strange shaped bottles full of glowing liquids. It didn't take much for me to connect the dots.

"Oh wonderful, he drinks. More of a reason to get the fuck out of this dimension." I said aloud.

"Okay, he drinks. Don't you?" Shannon asks.

I stare at the relic, "Not alcohol, no. 2 things could happen if he drinks enough to get drunk. Either abusive or....touchy feely." I shudder at the thought of it.

I think she got the point while I pushed the button to close the alien beer cooler, darting out of the room to look at the other 3 doors. Maybe the door on the other side will reveal the gem, and maybe I shouldn't run across the hallway over and over. Headed to the door it opened to show what looked like an almost full storage room, okay nothing in here. Too much in here, onto the next.

The next door then revealed what surprised me, it was a bedroom. There was a hovering bed the size of an average California king, a window above said bed, a few empty shelves. This couldn't POSSIBLY be the Mega Predators room, the bed is way too small for him. A horrifying thought hit me like a ton of bricks. If I fail to find the blue gem, this would be MY ROOM. I had to step out to calm myself down, anxiety starting to take over.

"Oh god...Oh god...deep breaths..." I breathed deeply.

"What's wrong??" The relic asked.

"We need to find the gem and get out of this dimension before the brute gets back..." I swallowed my fear and headed towards the last door.

It opened to reveal what I was expecting, the Mega Predators room. Now this room is DEFINITELY his, everything from the last room but doubled in size. Huge bed, large shelves occupied with several skulls, what looked like a dresser, and I can only assume either a closet or conjoining bathroom. What would the guy need a closet for? I mean, he barely wears anything. I entered the room and began to search from the ground.
