Fugi and I ran through the portal, both of us landing in grass. We stood up, looking around to see if either of us have the faintest idea of where we are. All I could see was that we were in a forest, but this one looked...how do I say it, simpler? The trees look less detailed than normal, the same with everything else. Are we...in an animated world? I looked at Fugi, he seemed less detailed as well.
"What is this place? I don't recognize it." He said.
"I don't know, but we ain't in a normal reality anymore." I said and began walking.
Fugi stayed by my side as usual, we trek through the forest while checking our surroundings. My face where the Elder "marked" me was still burning, I hissed and held my cheek.
"Damn that hurt...It STILL hurts!" I say.
"What, your new mark?" The predator asks.
"No, my forehead. Yes my new mark! It feels like my face is on fire! Am I bleeding?" I asked.
He chuckled, "No, you're not. Don't worry, it will scar nicely."
"Oh god my parents are gonna kill me when they see it!" I groaned.

The two beings ventured deeper into the forest, sunlight peering through the treetops. They seemed clueless as to where they were headed, but they continued on. A roar sounded in the distance, both of them coming to a halt. The alien readied his weaponry while the human squinted, almost as if she were thinking to herself.
"That roar sounded really familiar...Fugi, keep on guard but don't attack. I think I know what it was!" She whispered.
"Fine." He huffed.
They headed in the direction of the roar, another bellowing through the forest. Sky's eyes lit up when she heard it, taking off running to find the source of it. Fugi growled as he was annoyed that she just ran off blindly, he took off after her. She ran through the trees all the while listening for more roars, she then stopped atop a short cliff and looked down. She knelt down and hid behind a bush as Fugi came up to her, kneeling beside her.
"What were you thinking? Running off like that?" He asked.
She shushed him and pointed down, a smile plastering her face. The alien looked to where she was pointing, the sight before them baffled him. The human seemed very joyous as she had her hands over her mouth, keeping herself quiet as to not scare the animals below. But these were no ordinary animals.
They possessed large wings with a wide wingspan, long tails, one had large ears while the other had smaller ears. One was black with yellowish green eyes, this was the male. The other was sparkled white with ocean blue eyes, the female. There were 3 little babies playing roughly with one another, all of them were patched black and white spots.
One baby was mostly white with black accents on its tail and spine, it's eyes a bluish gree. The other 2 were quite similar, almost like twins. Both were black with white undersides and ears, white patches on their legs, spines and tails. But one had a white spot on its nose and blue eyes, which the other did not have. The male was bringing in a dead animal while the female watched the younglings roughhousing, the human and alien observed the animals in their habitat as Sky took put her phone.
"Oh my gosh I can't believe what I'm seeing! My mom is gonna love this!" She turned on her phones camera and pointed it at the large scaly animals.
"What are they?" Fugi asked.
"They're dragons. The black one is called a Night Fury, his name is Toothless. The white one is called a Light Fury, she doesn't have a name. And the little babies down there are their offspring called Night Lights. These animals are from one of me and my mom's favorite Dreamworks movie series of all time, How To Train Your Dragon. But I never expected that Toothless would have kids of his own!" She whispered, starting to take pictures.
The human took a few pictures of Toothless and his mate, then a few of the baby dragons playing.
"They look like they'd be a good hunt." Fugi whispered.
Sky's eyes widened as she turned to him, "Don't you even THINK about hunting any dragons, capishe?"
"I said they looked good to hunt, I didn't say I would." Fugi replied.
"Mhm..." She rolled her eyes.
The light fury took a break from watching her babies and began to eat the animal that Toothless had brought. The male dragon then yawned, showing his sharp teeth and stretching. Sky gasped and took more pictures of the magnificent beast yawning, she then began to slowly inch forward for better angles. The bushes she was hiding behind rustled, alerting the dragons below. Toothless growled and looked up in their direction, shooting a blast of fire at them.
The human yelped and jumped out of the way to avoid being hit, as did Fugi. But Toothless saw the girl first, he fired another blast just ahead of Sky. The fire hit a tree in front of her, the force from the blast was powerful to push her back. She stumbled, falling over the edge and tumbling down the slope into the dragons safe space. The Light Fury growled and put herself in front of her hatchlings while Toothless approached Sky, she coughed and sat up to see the Night Fury growling at her.
She gasped and pressed herself against the stone wall she had just tumbled down, holding her hand out towards the dragon. Toothless continued growling as he was only feet away from her.
"Whoa! It's okay! I'm not here to harm you, your girlfriend, or your babies! Toothless please don't!" She pleaded.
The dragon paused, his eyes widening at the sound of his name being said. But he did not ease up on his guard, he was still cautious around her. His attention then turned to her phone, she caught his eye and looked at her device.
"What, this? It's a Smartphone, I was only taking some pictures of you and your family for memories. I can show you." She opened the folder where the pictures were stored.
She turned the screen towards him to show the pictures, sliding it to show the many pictures she'd taken. Toothless then tilted his head, confused at the sight of something electronic. He slowly approached the human, sniffing at the phone cautiously. The dragon found nothing threatening about the phone as she put it in her bag, which she tossed aside to prove she wasn't a threat.
"It's okay Toothless, I would never harm such a handsome boy and his beautiful family." She smiled at his mate and babies.
The male dragon then sat in front of her, snorting and making warbled sounds.
*Sry Its a bit short, I was gonna do a Halloween themed chapter but I couldn't think of anything right off the bat. But I hope you like dragons!*

If I Went Somewhere Else
FanfictionSo this is like an alternative book of dimensions that Sky/Sarah/Springlock would have gone to in If I Went to Bayverse and If I Had Failed, ones that I was strongly considering using but didn't make the cut. So uh I hope you enjoy!
