"Huh?" The human halted, seeing the gems glow.

"The thing must be close by, judging by how bright  the glow is the closer we are."

The human hummed and lifted the relic towards the childrens rooms, the glow dimmed. She then held the gauntlet toward the end of the hall, it glowed brighter.

"That way." She pointed.

She then ran down the corridor, following the glow of the gems. The facehuggers and chestburster yelped and clung tighter onto the human making several twists and turns, passing by multiple corpses. Sky skid to a halt in front of glass windows leading into a massive room filled with tables, the gems glowing their brightest. She raised an eyebrow as she looked into the room. She walked in.

It was deathly quiet, no sound could be heard whatsoever. The human shuddered, constantly looking around her.

"Hospital cafeteria? It's hella creepy in here." She said.

"Why?" The mini con asks.

"Do you hear that?" Sky stopped, gesturing to the empty room.

"Hear what?"

"Exactly. Something ain't right..." She shuddered again.

One of the baby serpents hissed, she looked to it and sighed.

"I know you're all hungry, there might be something in here you all can chow down on. Let's look in the kitchen."

The human looked to the kitchen door, walking to it and pushing it open. There were discarded pots and pans everywhere, as well as rotting meat and other miscellaneous spoiled food. Sky gagged and covered her nose, the chestbursters squealed happily. They slithered off of her and towards the food, beginning to devour it hungrily. She stared in disgust at how the babies were eating bad food like it was the best thing they've ever consumed.

"Oh that's fucking NASTY! But...if you eat it the smell will go away so go ahead. You two alright?" She looked to the facehuggers clamping onto her arms.

They both hissed.

"Okay okay, watch the attitudes. I can still go Xenomorph mode."

There was a pained scream coming from another room in the kitchen, it startled the human as she yelped. But she ran to the room where she heard the scream, seeing a woman wriggling and screaming as if she were having a seizure. Sky ran to the screaming woman, kneeling in front of her. The woman had tears streaming down her face as she looked up to the young girl, letting out another pained scream. That was when blood spurted from the woman's chest, spraying Sky in the face. She shut her eyes as the woman's blood ran down her face, the sound of cracking came from her ribcage.

Sky opened her eyes just to see yet another serpent rip out of the woman's chest cavity, her eyes were wide as she ceased breathing. The chestburster screeched and looked around the room, seeing the human before it. Tears pricked her eyes as she used her fingers to close the victims eyes, she then turned her attention to the newborn.

This serpent was different. Instead if the typical peach pink color the others were, this one was tinted a light blue as well as having scrawny little arms. It stared at Sky as she returned the gaze. The baby xenomorph slithered up to her, purring and squeaking as it nudged her hand. She sighed, gently picking up the serpent and walking back towards the feeding chestbursters.

I set the newborn chestburster with the other hungry babies that were still eating the rotten food, it immediately went right for the brown meat and began tearing it to shreds. Well someone's a hungry little snake, all of them were. I noticed that the other baby Xenomorphs were a lot bigger than when I first found them, wow they DO grow fast. I also noticed some weirder appendages on on of them, 2 little stubs were where it's arms would be. But they weren't arms, they were webbed almost.
