Fugi, Eclipse, the chestburster and I were walking around and we had found directions to the hospital, hopefully the same one from the movie. We could see the building up ahead as rain began to fall. At first it was a drizzle, but then it started coming down harder and harder so we of course pick up the pace. Lightning flashed in the dark cloudy night sky, loud thunder following after. Eclipse yelped and covered himself with his wings as he started running.
I, unintentionally, brought a fucking baby dragon to a HORROR MOVIE!!! I knew something like this was gonna happen! Fugi can easily handle himself if he isn't going against the Mega Predator, but Eclipse is just a baby. So is this chestburster in my arms, but he/she/it should be fully grown soon.
The once bloody chestburster shot out of my arms and took off slithering, I went to chase it but I stopped myself. Time for the little alien to get big and strong, maybe it'll come find us once it's fully grown. We all managed to get under the overhang at the hospital entrance, now protected from the precipitation.
Eclipse shook like a wet dog and flung water all over the wall, Fugi did nothing as it didn't bother him. Droplets ran down my armor as I wrung out my sopping wet hair, streams of water falling to the ground. Being soaked is an understatement, I'm DRENCHED. Man I wish I had my mask on, I'd be dry! I think. As I wrung out my sopping wet hair, Fugi for some strange reason lifted my chin to look up at him.
"Your mark has completely scarred over." He says, sounded rather astonished.
"It has?? It was still red and raw yesterday, how is that possible?" I went to feel my cheek with a carving in it.
Riiiight, armored fingers. Dammit how do I take this armor off?! Wait no, in THIS world I'm gonna need it. So I won't take it off here, but good thing I'm clothed beneath in case I need to.
"For my kind, our skin heals rather fast. Maybe a few days for it to completely heal, it seems that happened for you. Unless humans heal that fast." Fugi said.
"We don't, unless-" I suddenly remembered what had happened in the first dimension.
The Mega Predator. He injected that broken bone healing serum thing, or whatever the hell it was, into my spine. Did that serum DO something to me? And I don't mean heal my broken ribs somehow, I mean did it change me? Fugi will lose his mind if I told him what the overgrown fucker did.
"Unless what?" He asks.
"Certain genetic mutation I think, there's some pretty cool ones but now isn't the time. We need to get inside and find the next gem, which is probably gonna be yellow. And I really think we should be careful in there, this place is seriously giving me the heebie jeebies." I shuddered as I pulled my mask out of my bag.
"I can feel it too, keep your little winged reptile close." Fugi said as he summoned his wristblades.
"Dragon, he's a dragon. A Night Light to be exact." I picked up Eclipse, he seemed much lighter than I remember.
We enter the hospital, walking into a very dimly lit waiting room and with no one at the reception desk. This place is uber creepy, and there's this looming sense of danger. We halted in the center of the room, I was looking at all the children's toys in a play area. Fugi took the lead as he scouted around the room, his mask making blips as I assume he's switching in between vision modes. Eclipse looked around the room with his black and white ears perked, seeming rather curious about the place.
"Eclipse, this is called a 'hospital waiting room'. It's where people wait for people to come and make them feel better." I said to my little dragon and booped his little white snout.

If I Went Somewhere Else
FanfictionSo this is like an alternative book of dimensions that Sky/Sarah/Springlock would have gone to in If I Went to Bayverse and If I Had Failed, ones that I was strongly considering using but didn't make the cut. So uh I hope you enjoy!
