Sky, Eclipse and Valka had arrived back at the village just as it got dark, the lights illuminating the darkness. Eclipse had fallen asleep in her arms on the walk back, his silent snoring brought a smile to her face.

"He's so adorable..." She said.

"He is, and he's chosen you as his future rider." Valka said.

The words made Sky's smile turn into a saddened frown, the older woman confused by her reaction.

"I do truly love Eclipse and I'd love to have him, but...I can't." A single tear formed in her eye.

"Why is that?" Valka asked, quite curious.

"Where I'm going is very dangerous. It breaks my heart, but I wouldn't be able to take care of him and if he got HURT because of it, I would never forgive myself..." Sky said solemnly.

Valka understood her predicament and gave a sympathetic pat to the young girls back, "That is quite responsible of you."

Sky nodded as the little dragon woke up, looking up at her with his sweet eyes. The way he looked at her made her heart break as she knew she couldn't take him on her journey. That was when Fugi came walking up to them and motioned her to follow, Valka nodded to her as she went about her business.

"What's up Fugi, where are we going?" She asked.

"To where we are staying tonight, your baggage is already there." He said as they began headed up a hill.

Eclipse just lay in my arms as we headed up some stone stairs, I looked up and saw what looked to be a rather large house. Toothless and Hiccup were sitting outside on the wooden porch as we were walking up.

"Uh Fugi? This is the Chiefs home." I clarified.

"Yes I know." He said simply.

Hiccup and Toothless saw us as we were almost to the porch.

"Ah there you two are, was wondering when you'd be back." Hiccup said warmly.

"Wait, you invited us to stay with you for tonight?" I asked in disbelief.

"Oh yeah. Toothless really seems to like you, and animals have better instincts that Vikings do." He muttered the last part.

Well he ain't wrong, animals listen to their instincts better unlike many people these days. Speaking of instincts, I have a weird feeling in my gut. But that also might be the food I ate, both are very plausible explanations.

"Oh, well that's very kind of you. We really appreciate it." I smile.

"Lets get inside, it's pretty cold tonight." He gestures us to follow him in.

Toothless went inside first because he was larger. To be truthful, my armor is much warmer than I give it credit for. Without my mask on, it's really cold. But the bitter cold has helped with the pain from the acidic mark I've received, yes it still hurts like hell. Fugi entered the building next and I came in last, looking around at the large room.

It looks WAY different that it does in the movies, like the layout is all different. In the movies, it's a 2 story house. But now it only has one floor, but there is a fire pit in the center of the house. Which I've always wondered how the homes don't go up in flames with these. Toothless and Snowfall are cuddled up together in the corner with their babies, Eclipse jumped out of my arms and went to join them.

"Okay so Snoggletogg will be here in 2 days, will you two be here for it?" Hiccup asked.

"Snoggletogg? What's that?" I ask.
