For the next few days, the girl got closer and closer to the boy. They two talked endlessly about many different things. She would play for him and he would listen with such intrest. Thinking how this girl had the voice of an angel.
"Angel..." he said out of the blue one night.
She looks up at him confused. "Huh?"
He simply smiled at her, "You sing like an angel. So I will call you Angel."
This made the girl blush bright, shaking her hair into her face. A moment after she did that, she felt the boy brush her hair out of her face, tilting her chin up to look at him.
"Dont hide your beautiful face, Angel." he said, kissing her forehead softly.
He smiled at her again and let go of her chin. She just sat there and stared at him, feeling a weird swelling in her chest shes never felt before. She shook it off and reached for her guitar case.
"Are you going to play for me again?" he asked.
"Um... No, not this time. I can do more then just play music..." she said, moving the guitar. Under the guitar in a secret place in her guitar case was her sketch book. She took it out and set it on her lap, looking up at him again, she tilted her head to the side.
"Angel? Why are you staring at me?"
She didnt say anything. She began to draw him. Moving her pencil slowly and carefully, being sure to get every detail in. She didnt always draw... She never had the drive to start drawing again. Her father always use to draw pictures of her and her brother playing. Or he would draw pictures of her mother as she read or as she cooked dinner. Each picture he created was always so beautifully detailed, giving off meaning in each one he drew. After what happen, he burned all of his are supplies and never drew again. She, luckily, was able to save some of the supplies to be able to use. She got her talent of art and music from both of her parents, but mostly her father.
After what seemed like hours, she finished. Handing him the sketch book, she watched his reaction to the picture infront of him. The picture was of him with elegant angelic wings, flying up to what seemed like a tear in the sky, leading him to a world of light and beauty. The girl never believed in heaven, but she thought the idea of it was beautiful. He looked up at her.
"You... Drew me? Why?" he asked, looking back from her and to the picture.
She blushed before softly saying, "You may say I sing like an Angel... but you truly are the Angel here..."
He looked back at her after she said that. Setting the book aside, he pulled her in for a tight hug. It felt so warm to the girl... She felt safe. Melting into the hug, she hugged him back tightly. Holding him close to her. They pulled apart slightly, she noticed his eyes dropped to her lips. As he began to lean in, there was a loud sound outside the cabin. Scaring them both apart. She stepped away from him to look outside, only to pale at the sight she seen.
He was behind her in an instant. "Angel, what is it?"
"Its... my dad..."
