-3 MONTHS LATER-

"Andy I wanted to bring something up to you."

Ashley, Jinxx and Jake groaned as CC started to talk, knowing exactly what he was going to say.

The 5 were hiding out in a village, waiting. A young boy, Philip, brought them food and water throughout their stay, sometimes his older sister Dani accompanying him. They had to remain hidden until the search for them died down. Jake was especially anxious- he didn't just escape FEAR, he was on death row and left. It meant if they saw him they could shoot on sight.

Andy looked up at from the book Jinxx had brought and salvaged from the burnt remains. "And what would that be?"

"Names." CC said finally. "I think we should have codenames. Something we could call each other without saying our real names. And our group too, they've already named us. Here, look." CC produced a wanted poster.

"'Legion of the Black'." Andy read out with a smirk. "I like it."

"They call our followers the Wild Ones." CC explained.

"We have followers?"

Everyone looked at Jake, who had spoken out of sheer surprise. "Not openly," CC admitted. "But folks have been noticing their kids doing little acts of defiance, like not praying before bed or wearing shoes in the house or something. The kids are willing to take a stand against FEAR."

Andy nodded as he listened, studying the poster. "Names. I like it," He agreed, shocking the three who had been protesting it for three months.

"Great, I'm the Destroyer." CC said immediately, bouncing like a child.

No one spoke. "Do I have to do all the work?" He huffed. "Ashley, the Deviant because you're sly and seductive,"

"Sly and seductive. Now that's a trend I can get behind." Ashley smirked.

"Jake, the Mourner. Your powers are all death related."

Jake sat on it for a moment before nodding slowly. "Yeah. Yeah okay."

"Jinxx, the Mystic." CC wiggled his fingers in Jinxx's direction. "Because you literally create fire out of nothing and you've been reading all those healing books."

Jinxx glanced at the pile before shrugging, nodding. Andy held up his hand before CC could name him. "Prophet," Andy spoke quietly, fiddling with the pendent in his hand. "I want the name Prophet."

Everyone got quiet. "What was his name?" Jake asked, somehow feeling the overwhelming sense of sadness radiating off of Andy.

"John. I never got a last name, and I was still being held when he got executed," Andy shook his head. "He was the first adult that made sense to me. Like somehow, this idea that me and four other people were supposed to meet and create this group of people with powers to do something made so much more sense than blind loyalty to a guy who barely shows his face. When I was 10 I told my mom to not go to a meeting because I thought she was going to get in trouble. But I started feeling like I knew what was going to happen when I was 7 and I didn't eat the mashed potatoes for supper and the day after all those people got sick. I felt crazy." Ashley put his hand on Andy's shoulder and squeezed comfortingly.

Andy paused and looked up at the door. "Scatter." He whispered.

"What?"

"EVERYONE SCATTER!" He shouted, and they all took off.
