She's was glorious. Magnificent. Beautiful. A queen. His queen.

He'd never forget the feeling. Seeing her in that form. It sent his heart racing. Made it skip a beat when he thought about it later on in the day. He wants so bad to walk up to her and touch.

Would she be mad if I did?

Oh, he really missed her. He really did. It was a bit lonely without her. And he missed their bantering. But here she is now. He thought he'd never see her again. And she wasn't alone. There were more like her. She wasn't the only one anymore. He was happy for her. And all he wants is to fly with her in that form. Together.

She saved Aurora. Caught her just in time before she could reach the ground. And here she is now, standing in all her glory. Wings spanned out. Beauty. Power. Authority. Queen. Their eyes weren't worthy to see such a thing.

He decides to get closer. Needs to be closer.

Mistress.

She feels him calling to her, feels his awe. She lowers her head enough for him to reach up and lay his hand on her head.

He can feel her power vibrate through him. It courses through his veins, through his body. It's familiar with it. It responds to her. It knows her.

Maleficent.

She leans into his touch for a second and then stands straight again. A swirl of magic after and she's back to her true self.

I missed you. She says.

He can't help it, he hugs her. She's going to kill him later for this if not now. But she surprises him and hugs him back, she definitely bumped her head somewhere.

Aurora's wedding is beautiful, so many smiles around. Fae and human alike. But he loves her's more. It's radiant, he'd give anything to see it more.

She looks beautiful when she smiles. He thinks.

He can't stop looking at her. Has he missed her that much? And why is that Borra guy smirking at him. Actually, now that he thinks about it everyone's giving him these weird knowing looks?

It's not like he's doing anything out of the ordinary. He follows her around like always. Makes sure she's ok. Watches her back. Gives her a lending hand. Runs to the moon and back whenever she asks for something. Stares at her when he thinks she's not looking. Marvels in her beauty.

What's he doing wrong? He's always done these things.

He wants the party to be over already. He wants to fly with her, wants to walk with her, but that Borra guy has her attention. He's starting not to like him. She looks over her shoulder to look at him, a small blush on her cheeks and smiles and all he wants is to touch that smile. He smiles back.

"Diaval." She called him after a while, finding him sitting on a log under one of the willows she grew after the war, hiding from the party, tired of mingling. He stood quickly, ready to get her what she needed.

"Maleficent."

Her eyes widened, not really expecting him to call her by her name, then she smiled. He never called her by her name before, and she kind of liked how it sounded coming from him.

"I-I mean, Mistress. S-sorry. Stupid." He stammered.

Her smile grew more, showing her fangs. She loved watching him get all flustered. It always made him look adorbale. He just had this puppy look to him, though she'd never tell him, he would probably never want to be a human again.

He stops talking when he sees her smiling at him. She really did look beautiful.

"I've been looking for you."

"Have you? I'm sorry. I was...thinking."

"Of what?"

You.

"Well...there's a lot of new poeple to meet."

"Hmm. Yes." She nods, sitting on the log . "Have you met Borra?" She smirked.

Oh great, now she wants to talk about him too. What am I supposed to do about that? I guess I should be happy she's happy. Am I being selfish?

"No. I'm uh, well, I'm convinced he wants to replace me."

She raises an eyebrow, clearly amused. "Oh really?"

He nods, crossing his arms.

She's definitely gonna tease him now. Putting on a serious face she said, "Well, it seems he has considering you left my side."

Diaval paled and took a step back. He did leave didn't he? Stupid bird. First he gets separated from her for days and now he's gone and left her alone. What if something happened to her? Though she can just send whoever messes with her to oblivion and beyond.

You're a complete idiot, Diaval. What am I gonna do now? I don't want to miss her smiles. I' don't want to miss her again. I want to be next to her. Make her smile. Protect her. Maybe even l-

Was he about to think what he thinks he was gonna think? Was that even right? Should he ask? Why can't he think of what to do?!

Letting a breathe out in frustration he looked around. What was he even looking for? Looking back to his mistress he found her with an amused look on her face. Like if she was about to laugh. What was so funny?

Her smile widened, showing a small portion of teeth.

Oh, she smiling again. But why? Does it really matter? Maybe she'd let him stay. Will she let him stay? By her side? Just him and her?

"Of course I will, Diaval."

That's great. WAIT! Did she just-

"Yes I did. Have you forgotten our minds are linked through my magic?" Her smiled widening.

"Oh." He said softly. She definitely heard every single thought he had today.

Crap. Now I'm dead. Now I'm really truly dead. At least he lived a good life. And far longer than any other raven.

He didn't notice her step closer to him until she cradled his face in her hands. "Silly bird. You think to much." She said kissing him. He blinked once, then his eyes widened and fluttered closed. He kissed her back. It felt like kissing the sun, or embracing the stars. Or, well,kind of like flying. She pulled back and looked into his eyes.

"Will you be my wings?"

"Forever." He said breathlessly. She kissed him again.

Was that cheesy? That was cheesy wasn't it? All well.

So this is late, and I watched it 6 times the first 2 days, but MAN I LOVE MALEFICENT 2. Especially when she turns in a Phoenix. Ooo I screamed. Literally. I also screamed "THATS RIGHT U HUG HER ASS AURORA. SHE SAVED UR ASS. AGAIN." And the whole theater laughed. Idk why.

The only i was disappointed about was that her and Diaval didn't get together. I mean come Disney. But don't worry we'll all make it canon through us. Disney just wants us to write it down for them, thats totally it.

Anyways sorry for not updating for a while. It's been tough and busy. Need me some video gaming and fangirling time. God adulthood is so complicated. Ugh. Just, just turn me into a cabbage or something, at least then I'll be useful and healthy.
