Chapter Two:
Kuchiki Kyohei
“When we get out of this place, remember that your name is now Kuchiki Kyohei. You are no longer named Hayashi Takagi. Stay close to me.” Misaki instructed.
“Yes.” I agreed. My eyes blinked a couple of times when I saw the light of day through a huge door.
“We’re almost there. Remember, you’re Kyohei and I am Miya.” She repeated.
“Yeah, I get it already.” I chortled in excitement. Within a few seconds, we were already out. I couldn’t control myself but to be astounded by what I saw. It was a completely different world… It was peaceful and there are no pollutions. There were huge ancient mansions surrounding the enormous gate and everything was just perfect.
“Who goes there?” A man went near us and when I looked at Miya; her face was already covered with Black cloth. She sure was fast.
“I am Miya from the Black Operatives and also the royal guard of Princess Miyazaki. This is my badge.” I raised an eyebrow when I heard her speak. Her voice was forced to sound large and she moved with masculinity. She held up her hand holding the badge she has shown me before. Why was she imposing like a guy?
“My deepest apologies Miya-sama. Who is the person with you Miya-sama?” The guard wondered.
“He is Kuchiki Kyohei, Princess Miyazaki’s new adopted son. Just look at him, he looks exactly like Kuchiki-Taichou. Maybe that’s why the princess took interest in him.” Miya was a good liar. She was obviously making things up but the guard seems to be convinced.
“We are going to take off now. I was ordered by the princess to take him to his very own room. Please tell the elders to prepare for Kyohei-sama’s arrival. And also, Kuchiki-Taichou and the Princess would be eating with their son here tonight.” Miya ordered.
“Of course, Miya-sama.” The man stiffened, probably feeling threatened by Misaki. Her voice suddenly shifted into something authoritative.
“Alright then, we’ll take off. Good day Hitachi.” The Hitachi guy’s eyes widened when Misaki uttered his name. Even I felt the same when Misaki suddenly spoke my name the moment we met.
“Have a good day as well, Miya-sama.” The man bowed before leaving.
“I think that man peed on his pants.” I jerked.
“Yeah, I get that a lot. Am I that intimidating?” She wondered as we walked.
“Of course you are. If not, maybe they would think you’re annoying.” I laughed at her.
“Stop teasing, that is so not funny.” She seems to be pouting. I couldn’t tell since half of her face was covered.
“I bet your boyfriend was pissed with you when you first met.” I mocked her and added a short laugh. She stared vigorously at me but I continued laughing.
“Do you know why I am so mad?” Misaki hissed.
“Why is that?” I played along.
“Because you’re correct. My husband was really pissed with me when we first met. I killed all of his opponents so easily and rubbed it on his face. In the end, he just had to accept the fact that I am an assassin who is better than him in so many ways.” I was surprised by her story.
“You’re married already?” She nodded as an answer. “If I were your husband, I wouldn’t let you continue your work being the inner commander of the Black Ops. I mean, come on…” I rolled my eyes at her.
