~(Y/n)'s POV~
"How do you feel?" My mom asked me
It was the next day. Luckily, she wasn't home to see me covered in shit, piss and toilet water.
"Sick." I lied. Truthfully, I just didn't want to go to school. Not after the day I had yesterday.
"Okay sweetie, well rest up. I have to go to work. I'll be home early today, so I'll make you some soup when I get back."
"Okay, thanks mom." Without my mom, the only thing I would've had in this world would be Tessa.
My mom left. I turned onto my side, facing the wall. It felt like a darkness was slowly devouring me. I slowly curled up in a ball, wrapping my arms around my legs. I could feel myself falling asleep, then I got a text.
'Where are you?' It was Tessa.
'I'm not going.' I texted back. 'I'm sick.'
'(Y/n), do you think I'm stupid? You never get sick. Ever. What really happened?'
'...James and Hunter put my head in a toilet bowl of my own shit and piss and flushed it.'
'WHAT?! ARE YOU SERIOUS? I SWEAR TO GOD IF I SEEM THEM I WILL ABSOLUTELY END THEM!'
I laughed a little.
'Thanks Tessa, but don't. I don't want you to be bullied too.'
'I don't care if I get bullied, beaten up, thrown in the trash, I won't let them keep treating you like this for their own amusement!'
'Tessa, please. Don't do anything.'
'...Fine. But only because you really don't want me to.'
'Thank you.'
'But I'm coming over tonight to watch anime with you, and you can't say anything to change my mind!'
'Fine, fine. Whatever you say.'
'Good. See you tonight.'
Looking at her texts, I smiled. I really couldn't be happier with her in my life. I'm so lucky to have her. With that, I fell asleep.
~April's POV~
'(Y/n) was right. This place really is a hellhole.' I thought
I walked into class, and took my seat.
'(Y/n) must be late.'
I waited for him. I waited, and waited, and waited. Then, the bell rang, and he still wasn't here.
'Is he not here? Maybe he's just late.' So far, he was my only friend here. I was actually looking forward to talking to him today too...
Time passed, and it was getting less and less likely that he was here. Then the bell rang.
"I guess he really isn't here." I mumbled to myself.
I got out of my seat, packed my things, and started walking around the hallways, just trying to kill time before my next class.
"Oh, so you must be the new girl?"
I looked around, and then turned around and saw a short blonde girl, must've been around 5'3".
"Oh, uh, yes." I said, slightly confused.
"My name is Julie Ward, it's nice to meet you." She smiled, it seemed genuine enough.
"Oh, my name is April Valentine. It's nice to meet you too." I smiled back at her.
"So...you have any friends yet?" She asked me. She started walking past me, and I followed her.
