[3rd Pov]
Hotel

Rust hung up the call, passing the phone over to Selozar that held it carefully since he knew dropping it could break it. "Thank you angel of death." Rust smiled wide behind his smiley face mask, still getting treated by the nurse named Morgenne. "...You're welcome." Selozar honestly didn't know what to tell Rust about that nickname given sometimes. It does bother him, reminding him of some things done but he just wasn't sure what to tell him. "H-How did you even get Jake's phone? He might get upset..." Selozar asks curious, hearing a small chuckle escape from the spooky man. "Pickpocket."

"Oh..." Selozar then began walking out of the room leaving them there, Sorrow and Uleanra had come back to the hotel room to stay with Morgenne and it was pretty painful with Rust around. Since he wasn't the kindest but the nurse still had a heart for him. Not literally. Anyways, he started searching around the hotel for Jake but not too far into another floor higher since there wouldn't be a reason why Jake would go there. As the male searched around, he had started to call out his name feeling like a lost child trying to look for his parents.

Selozar continued his small search for his friend but it started taking a little too long to find him until he got the idea he could be in their hotel room chilling. He began walking back to their room they shared together, as he walked he quietly looked around to search for the room since everything seemed very similar. All the walls and flooring were the same, all looked organized and clean, and it kept on going with each door passed through.

As he walked to find their shared room in which he remembered the number and floor, he saw he wasn't the only one searching for someone in the building. There was this old woman that had walked past him from the other side, calling out a name which sounded like Samuel. Selozar hoped for this woman to find this Samuel she was talking about. Anyways his small adventure began once again, he searched for his friend in their room, getting closer than before.

Although once he went into the hotel room with the key, he saw that nobody was inside. It was all empty and even Jakes bed too. Selozar stood there for a brief moment thinking until an idea popped into his head. His idea was to call his boyfriend with Jake's phone since he didn't have his right now, obviously Albert had it not wanting him to hold too much. Besides that if he calls Albert with the phone, then he can ask him if he's seen Jake around to return his phone stolen by Rust.

Selozar began to turn on the phone and began to look for Alberts name. The good thing is that Albert taught him how to use a phone otherwise he'll get stuck. That's when he accidentally tapped on the recent calls Jake had, his eyes saw that he had not had any recent calls from anybody in the past days except the one made a few minutes ago. There were more past calls but just not ones from days ago.

Selozar found this a little strange, he thought Jake had received a call from some family member, unless he was texted by them. This is business I shouldn't get into, Selozar thought in his mind and went back to look for Alberts name in the A list. That's when he heard the door open all the way, altering him to turn around. Speak of the devil. "Selozar, you're not with Albert?" Jake asked, seeing him by himself standing there looking at him. For a brief moment he stood there till he answered his question. "N-Not yet but a-anyways here is your phone. Rust took it." His tone sounded unfortunate as he passed him his phone seeing he had a bit of a surprised expression but realized it's Rust. Of course he would steal his phone. "I was gonna call Albert to tell him if he's seen you but.. not anymore now."

"That's okay.." Jake said as he puts his phone away in his pocket deep fearing Rust will steal his phone once more. It's not like he hid anything in it but he'd probably would mess through it or texting the others strange things. Silence emerged between the two till something caught Selozars attention in Jake's arm. "Are you uh.. okay?" The male with the blue hoodie asked, looking at him seeing his friends head slowly nod up and down. "Y..yes." He ripped his attention away from his wrist. "I think."

"...Are you afraid of what's happening?" Jake asked him out of curiosity. "If you are.. t-then I'm sure it's gonna be alright. This whole mess does seem pretty frightening but.. I am sure everyone will turn out to be okay. We can do this together, all of us." He adds in with the smallest smile ever made, it seemed like his confidence was low and hope. "I do agree on that all but.. it just seems impossible to me for Alone to warn us, it just happened all of a sudden. That's very suspicious of him..."

"What I think is Alone might be thankful that you let him go live, as well for his wife.. and unborn child." Jake responded to his shared thought. "I did it for Albert mostly... I-I didn't want him to look at m-me differently.. and I knew I needed to stop.. it could have gone to worse." Selozar grinned sharply, hating to remember the fearful expression Albert had in his face when he faced him. He definitely noticed his rising terror, his trembling arms and legs, and his beating heart knowing it is in front of deadly danger. "Still, if I were him I would feel thankful.. but he is different I guess." Jake mentioned.

Selozar brought his vision up to meet with Jake's eyes sensing something strange about him. He actually has been more often but he doesn't want to pressure him into anything. "You don't seem afraid of what's been happening lately... are you not afraid at all?.. What are you even afraid of?" He questioned him in a low tone, staring a little too deep into his eyes. Enough to watch him take a small step away. "I'm n-not afraid of anything, that's so stupid." His tone indeed was filled with nervousness, looking away from Selozar feeling a little weird. "Fear doesn't come first for me. I keep in mind about way more important things like people than to feel that bs!..."

"Oh I understand." Selozar responded still using a low tone, out of nowhere he started blushing after thinking about someone important to him. Though that thought took a further turn into imagination that won't be described. "...I think, I-I might be thinking d..differently in a way." Selozar hid his face away from the universe embarrassed to death. Jake suspected something very odd about him like that. He hoped he didn't get the extra details how and why exactly. "That's fine?.." Jake wasn't interested in his head, maybe his best friends instead. "Don't worry about it, j-just be brave about this. Have courage...? You know you aren't ever gonna go back with him."

"Albert isn't the only one thinking that, we won't let you get hurt or return with him ever again." Jake told him seeing Selozar nod with his eyes slightly sparkling with some emotion. "I-I wouldn't let you get hurt or taken by h-him either." He smiled a little weak from getting hit in his heart. "...O-Or anybody else wishing to do bad." Jake right there standing felt as if he was falling into endless darkness, something about that last sentence made him feel bad in a way he couldn't speak of. "I a-..a-appreciate that.. a-a lot..." The male found himself surrounded in the dark, as if he were apart of it from getting consumed by its evil wrath.

"..T-There is s..something I need to tell y-you. I-It is important." His tone sounded so weak and scared, and he started to weirdly tremble. "Y-You cannot tell anybody.. not yet..please." His voice cracked, having trouble to spit his sentence out. Selozar looked at him strangely then nodded his head. "Okay..." He whispered out waiting for words to come out but nothing did for a moment."...J-..Just kidding! As if I had anything important to tell anybody! I have nothing to say at all..." He started to laugh quietly, avoiding eye contact with his friend just standing there confused. "Oh..." He wasn't sure what to say or how to react.

"Anyways, are you gonna go back with Albert now?" He asked the male that still felt confused. "I guess, y-yeah." He responded with a single nod and a little blush. "Oh okay, go have some fun or whatever. I'll be here doing stuff." Jake stared out of the window, quietly thinking in his mind. His eyes seemed to be showing his true emotion but he didn't dare to stare at anybody when it did. "Oh okay.. b-bye then, I'll see you around." Selozar began walking out of the door after he unlocked it, leaving his friend there to go find with Albert.

The male quietly stood there thinking in his head about what's been happening. Of course he felt like he was hostile in the middle of this mess, he never wanted to be a part of this mess but at the same time he saw something he never had before in his life. It was amazing and was worth protecting, doing anything to not damage it.
