"I messed up, Jeno." 

Jeno furrowed his eyebrows, wondering how Jaemin messed anything up. He saw Jaemin starting to cry and that's when he ran over to him.

He engulfed his boyfriend in a big hug, letting him sob on his shoulder. His heart shattered. Never does Jeno ever want to see Jaemin upset like this. "Jeno," Jaemin sobbed harder. The people walking down the streets stared at them, giving them weird looks, but neither of them moved. They stayed like that. Jaemin in Jeno's arms, crying while Jeno comforted him. They ignored everyone else.

"Jeno, I'm such a bad friend, I'm such a bad person!" Jaemin grabbed Jeno's arms tight and he kept shaking his head, "I'm horrible, I'm horrib--"

"Shh," Jeno ran his hand through Jaemin's hair in an effort to calm him down a little bit. He noticed that Jaemin's breath smelled like alcohol, which surprised Jeno as Jaemin rarely drinks.

Spotting a bench on the street, Jeno brought the two of them over there and sat down.

Jaemin eventually stopped crying and that's when Jeno decided to start talking.

"Talk to me, Jaemin. What do you mean by 'I messed up'?"

Jaemin sniffled and played with his fingers, "Donghyuck called me earlier. He was upset, and I suggested that we should go out. I got drunk and that's all I remember. The last thing I remember seeing, actually is the new boy kissing Donghyuck. I saw the whole thing happen, Jeno. You know how important Donghyuck's first kiss was to him! And I didn't do anything to stop it! If I never forced him to go out then this wouldn't have happened!"

Once again, Jaemin started hysterically crying. Jeno felt his heart clenching more and more every second. He placed Jaemin's head on his chest and ran his hand through his hair again. Waiting until Jaemin calmed down, Jeno sat there, thinking about what he was told.

When Jaemin eventually stopped crying, Jeno lifted his head and looked into his eyes. He smiled, and cupped Jaemin's face, his thumb rubbing his cheek. Leaning down a little bit, Jeno pecked his boyfriend on the lips. "Calm down, Nana."

Closing his eyes, Jaemin smiled and leaned into his lover's embrace. "I love you, Jeno."

"I love you more."

Not even remembering why Jeno called Jaemin in the first place, the two sat there in silence admiring the city. But, about five minutes into doing so, Jeno realized he was wasting time.

"Jaemin," He said, the panic making his voice shaky. "Mark... he... he's doing it. Jaemin, he's doing it! He's asking Donghyuck out! We're wasting time!"

As soon as Jaemin heard that, everything clicked.

He dragged Donghyuck to the bar, Jungwoo kissed him, and then right after, Donghyuck looked at his phone and ran away. Mark must have texted him saying he needed to meet him somewhere or something. Before that, Mark also must have texted Jeno what he was going to do, making Jeno panic and ask for his boyfriend's help. Which by the way, is something Jaemin is very used to. Jeno always thinks he can do everything on his own only to run to Jaemin for help.

"Shit Jeno, now you're realizing how stupid your plan is?"

"Yes, now let's go."

"Jaemin, we were too late."

Jeno and Jaemin ran all around Seoul trying to find Mark and Donghyuck. Of course, the last place they check just so happened to be where they were. And when they got there, they could see Mark holding Donghyuck's hands. Then, they hear a faint voice, which is definitely Donghyuck, "Mark... Yes. Yes." Then there was a bit of a pause. From their position, the two love birds could see Donghyuck's face but not Mark's.

A big smile grew on Donghyuck's face. Jeno immediately felt like absolute garbage. How could he do that to Donghyuck?

Regret.

That's the word Jeno is feeling and will be feeling for a very long time.

Standing up from his kneeling position, Jeno was about to call them. He was ready to tell the truth. He wanted to stop the storm before it came.

But Jaemin pulled him back down, "what's done is done, Jeno. There's no point." He shook his head, "you made a mistake, now you need to learn from it."
