"lin! lin! hey lin!" (y/n) called out to the brunette, she was about 70 yards away from her.

"I know, I know, but that feels like forever to me without my girl." she kissed the top of lin's head, as the brunette was much shorter than her. lin snuggled deeper into (y/n)'s arm.

"hey, there's a new boba place down the street, you wanna go, babe?" (y/n suggested, beginning to walk as she already knew her girlfriend's answer. lin looked up, and nodded furiously.

they began a cheerful stroll, happy to be in each other's presence. (y/n) noticed lin's hand fit perfectly into hers.

the girls walked in and ordered. lin decided on oolong milk tea, while (y/n) decided to try the taro milk tea. after receiving their sweet sips, they sat down together and continued to converse.

"(y/n), can I try yours?" lin requested, a puppyish look in her eyes. her girlfriend smiled, "of course." and handed her the purple cup. lin's eyes brightened up even more, if that was possible.

(y/n) watched lin as she sipped. she loved how the corners of her lips were always curved upwards. she loved how she was always careful of what she was doing. she loved how she held things with two hands. she loved lin.

"hey lin?" she said. lin's honey-brown eyes looked up. "I didn't think I would ask this today, but I feel like I should."

lin popped her mouth off the wide straw and shot up from her seat, nearly in tears. she took only two steps before throwing herself onto (y/n).
