   (Emilia's POV)

   The doorbell interrupted what was about to happen with me and Sam. I blushed and went to go see who was at the door. I opened it and I saw a mail person (idk)

   "Letter for Samuel Seabury." The man said. I took the letter and closed the door again.

   "Samuel? There's a letter for you." I said. Samuel came over and took the letter. He opened it and gasped.

   "What's wrong?" I asked. He looked pale. He looked back up at me with wide eyes.

   "It's from King George..." he said. I gently set a hand on his shoulder as he read the letter aloud.

   "Priest Seabury,

   It has come to my attention that you have been shunned as you gave your speech which I had asked you to say. This not only embarrasses you, but me as well. If you show up back in England I will have you executed for your actions. I recommend you watch your back. There will be hell to pay. You are a disgrace to England and your people. Don't come crawling back to me.

-KG3"

   Samuel's voice had begun to crack as tears formed in his eyes. I immediately engulfed him in a hug. He clings tightly to me as he cries.

"Shhh. I know, I know." (IMNOTSORRY) I gently cooed in his ear. He buries his face in my neck and whimpers a bit. I kiss the side of his head. He's fragile. Like a porcelain doll that cracks with the slightest hit.

   "Hey, Sammy. What do you wanna do today? Let's get your mind off of him." I said with a small smile. Samuel looked up with tears in his eyes and sniffled. He nodded.

   "C-can we take a w-walk?" He asked like a small child. I smiled warmly and nodded.

   "Of course. Let's go change and we can go." I said. He smiled a little bit and let go of me.

   "I have some clothes that I think will fit you." I said, looking at his figure. He wasn't slim but he wasn't big either. He was a nice size and I think my brother's old clothes may fit him. He nodded and I led him up to my brother's old room. We walked through the door and over to the closet. I looked through and picked out a couple of outfits.

"Which one?" I asked, holding the two up. Samuel looked at them for a moment before answering.

   "The blue one looks nice." He said. Gesturing to a navy blue coat with a white tunic under it with some white pants and black boots. I smiled and handed it to him.

   "Let me know how it fits. I'll be in my room." I said, walking off into my room to change into something.

   I changed quickly and did my hair. I heard a knock on my door. I opened it to see a very handsome looking Samuel.

   "Does it look alright?" He asked nervously, a small blush on his cheeks. I smiled and nodded.

   "You look very handsome." I said and straightened out the coat a bit. He blushed a bit harder and murmured a thank you.

   (Samuel's POV)

   After she complimented me, I glanced at her outfit and couldn't help but notice how beautiful she was. Her outfit made her green eyes pop and her skin glow. She was gorgeous.

   "Y-you look amazing..." I stuttered. Emilia blushes and smiled.

   "Shall we get going?" She asked. I nodded and we walked out of the house.

   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   We walked down towards the water and looked towards the sea. Emilia smiled and took a small blanket out of her satchel. She layed it across the sand and sat down, looking up.
   "I used to come here a lot before father passed away. Me and my best friend Lafayette would play in the sand when he wasn't in France. We would escape from mother's yelling and come down here." She said with a distant look. I sat next to her and set a hand on her knee.
   "Did you have a hard time with your mother?" I asked slowly. She nodded.
   "Mother was always cruel to us. She hated me with all of her being but my brother is who she loved. I was just a disappointment." She said, fiddling with her hands. I frowned.
   "You aren't a disappointment. You are beautiful, kind, funny, caring, and just a bubbly person. It's what makes you amazing and if people can't see that, they need new glasses." I said with confidence. She looked at me in awe. She hugged me tightly and I hugged her back.
   "You aren't a disgrace." She said softly. I looked at her in confusion.
   "What King George said. You aren't a disgrace. You are amazing, loyal, and handsome. There isn't anything a human being couldn't love. The people that shunned you yesterday weren't getting the fact that being a Loyalist doesn't mean you aren't a good person. I love you for you." She said. Wait...did she just say she loved me? I teared up a bit.
   "You love me?" I asked. She realizes what she said.
   "I..I- yes? No? Maybe!" She stutters, her face a blushing mess. I smile slightly and cup her cheek, a newfound confidence driving me. She looked at me and began leaning in. I did aswell.
   Her lips met mine. They were soft and warm and being cliché, yes, it felt like fireworks. She kissed back with a passion and wrapped her arm around my neck. I smiled into the kiss and we pulled away for air.
   "That...that was amazing." She said. I nodded and put my arms around her once again. She hugged back and ran her fingers through my hair. I smiled for the millionth time today, happy to be here with someone so amazing.
