Why hello there. My name is Scomoda! It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance~! So here I am. I write. Thanks yous. I hope you like this floofy shiz.
"Hear ye hear ye! My name is Samuel Seabury and I present free thoughts on the Continental Congress!"
The redhead announced his position with a strained smile on his face. He stood upon a small wooden stage with a scroll in hand. He looked around with false confidence as if he were looking out on a crowd of thousands when few seemed to notice.
"Heed not the rebels who scream Revolution! They have not your interests at heart!" He sang. His voice was smooth but he was dying inside. As you can see, our dear Seabury has anxiety. He was sent here by KG3 to preach about England's pursuits to try and win over the Americans. He then heard an annoyed voice in the crowd.
"Oh my god, tear this dude apart." A gruff voice said in annoyance. Samuel looked over and tried to ignore him. He had a red bandana around his head and he wore a soldier's clothing.
"Chaos and bloodshed are not a solution! Don't let them lead you astray. This congress does not speak for me~!" He sang, attempting to ignore the odd looks he was getting.
"Let him be." He heard. It was another man, close to another group that consisted of the one with the bandana.
"They're playing a dangerous game! I pray the king shows you his mercy! For shame! For shaaaammmeee-!" He sang. A man with a ponytail and a scruff beard stepped in and decided to fight him verbally.
"Yo he'd have you all unravel at the sound of screams but the Revolution is coming! The have-nots are gonna win this, it's hard to listen to you with a straight face!" He sang as Samuel tried to sing his own part. Tears pricked at the corner of his eyes but he blinked them away and continued to sing.
"Chaos and bloodshed already haunt us, honestly you shouldn't even talk. And what about Boston and all of the cost and all that we've lost and you talk about Congress!"
"This Congress does not speak for me!"
"My dog speaks more eloquently!"
That kind of stung. Samuel winces at the hurtful words from the man.
"They're playing a dangerous game."
"But strangely your mange is the saaammmmeeee-!" Samuel one again blinked back tears.
"I pray the king shows you his mercy~"
"Is he in Jersey?" The man taunted. Samuel kept singing even as his throat clogged. Little did he know, someone was watching what was going on.
"For shame!"
"For the Revolution!"
"For shaaammmmeeee-!"
"For the Revolution!!!"
"Heed-!"
"If you repeat yourself again I'm gonna scream! Honestly look at me please don't read."
"Not your interests-."
The man got in his face and shoved his arm. Samuel stumbles a bit but stays singing, now shaking slightly.
"Don't modulate the key then not debate with me! Why should a tiny island across the sea regulate the price of tea?!"
Samuel now let a few tears slip.
"Alexander please!" Said one of the men from earlier.
"Burr I'd rather be divisive than indecisive, drop the niceties!" The man yelled at the other, Burr. Samuel shook violently as he tumbled off the stage.
HAH! CLIFFHANGER! I did not look up the lyrics so I may have gotten a word or two wrong. But yeah! Let me know if you liked this book so sMaSh VoTe-!
