note: I'm not sure how well I did portraying his accent but I hope you got the picture anyway :)
Also, I only put the dash in the title (2-D) because that is how his nickname is actually spelt, but for writing convenience I just wrote it without the dash in the story (2D).

The day after their massive gig, the Gorillaz were absolutely knackered. It was well into the afternoon by the time everyone had woken up, and even then it took an hour for everyone to accumulate in the living room.

(Y/N) had been cleaning up the kitchen when the first person came downstairs.

"Morning Ace, or should I say, afternoon."

"Hey, (Y/N)." He mumbled, stifling a yawn. Ace then flung himself into an armchair haphazardly.

Soon after, Russel and Noodle followed, both coming down the stairs and drifting into the lounge. Noodle picked up her acoustic that she had stood against the wall the night before, and began plucking a random tune. (Y/N) then walked out of the kitchen and lay on the couch, holding a phone.

"Pizza should be here in a sec, try to stay awake until then," She said, everyone else mumbling in agreement.

Finally, as if by telepathic peer pressure, 2D came lumbering into the room. He looked like he had been run over by a bus three times and then attacked by a gang of raccoons. To put it frankly, he looked like crap.

"2D, nice to see you up. Pizza is on its way." He only grunted, before flopping on top of (Y/N). He had knocked the wind out of her ("Oof") and rested his head on her chest, only muttering a small "sorry luv".

(Y/N) only rolled her eyes. She couldn't blame him; the gig last night was so energy-draining and the band had got home at 4am. They had a right to be exhausted.

Noodles' noodling had turned into a riff, to which Russel was tapping a beat on the table. Ace had grabbed a nearby guitar as well and was using the top 4 strings to create a bass line. However, just as they began to pull together the doorbell chimed, breaking the song. Ace cursed before going to get the door.

As the pizza was being collected from the delivery man, (Y/N) began to run her fingers through 2D's hair, earning a satisfied mumble from the man. He turned to lie on his back and hummed a small addition to the song that they had been playing. It sounded like it had the potential to be a good one if they worked it right, but in the early stages (Y/N) had long since concluded that it was all down to what stuff went down in the making of it. For instance, the whole plastic beach fiasco.

"Pizza is on the table, by the way. And I settled the cost but you owe me, (L/N); you ordered it." Ace grumbled and dropped the boxes on the coffee table, which made a satisfying smack! as it touched the table. Russel immediately snatched three pieces from one of the open boxes, while Ace just plonked himself back down in the armchair and Noodle paid no attention to the pizza.

2D opened his big, white eyes halfway after a while and stared up at (Y/N) with a goofy smile on his face.

"'Ello there."

After a while, (after all the pizza had gone), the rest of the band had left one by one to do their own things, leaving (Y/N) and 2D still lying on the couch.

(Y/N) had figured out that whenever she stopped playing with his hair, 2D would quietly whine and tell her to keep going. However after 45 minutes, her hands were getting tired, and she was very thirsty.

Placing 2D's head on the couch, she stood up and began to walk in the direction of the kitchen.

"Come backkk..." He made a half-attempted reach for her, but by then she was already in the kitchen filling 2 glasses with water.

When (Y/N) came back into the room a minute later she found 2D's gangly figure halfway falling off the couch, fast asleep. Lightly chuckling, she placed one of the cups down on the coffee table and draped a blanket over him.

She quickly pecked his cheek before muttering:

"Have a good sleep Stu, you deserve it."

and then she ducked out of the lounge.
