The day spent shopping with Ariel really proved to be much needed. All except when Ariel's feet got tired in the mall and she shapeshifted into her cat form then poor Challery was forced to carry her. Ariel laughed as she thought about it to herself. She was always up for a good game.
The next day Challery rose early to get a headstart on all of her tasks.
Athenia was beautiful and LakeCity was busy once again with holiday shoppers. A yellow sun beamed from above and the wind made the trees dance the samba.
Challery decided to fix her hair in a high one as she looked back at the pretty reflection in the mirror. Daddy was right looks sure are everything. She pulled her toothbrush by reorganizing atoms and effortlessly brushed her teet while she fixed her hair. Powers were amazing. Challery would know. She often frowned upon her parents who were just soulmates in love. Her dad was crippled and blind before meeting her mom and her mother was a deaf student who gained her hearing upon finding love. They often told Challery that they just knew they were meant for each other and were happy upon finding their twin flame. Mr and Mrs Monti changed what seemed to be curses set upon them. Their marks were forever a pair of eyes and lips neatly placed on their wrists. Challery found herself stuck in traffic by the time she left the house. Wednesday was an exciting day plus she was congratulated for the awesome snapshots she got for JetSet Magazine. Yousuf informed her that they had decided that she could work remotely while she worked on her masters in NY. This way  she could still be a part of the team. Challery was beginning to feel more and more nervous. This masters programme was an important step for her but so was finding love. She went through the day setting up photoshoot after photoshoot with the many clients. Her highlight came with a rastafarian couple who seemed like they were soul stictched. March being the month of love in Athenia the magazine had a series in association with Oprah Winfrey's O magazine about real-love. The young couple changed their eye colour constantly as they posed infront of the bright lights. Each time they made eye contact Challery watched as their Iris changed from red, green, gold and blue. She ould tell tell that they were really spritual with the large chakra marks on their backs.

Bob Marley's music played in the background as they embraced each other for the remainder of the photoshoot. Challery wiped a tear away feeling like one, she never saw anything more beautiful and two because she feared she wouldn't find anything more perfect. The couple in an exclusive interview later revealed that they were alive over fifty years but looked as though they never aged because of their meatless diet. They also revealed that they are androgenous and can float between either gender. Sometimes the wife is the husband and vice-versa. They looked identical like royal twins but were not even related. They were the definition of gender fluidity. Under full moons after passionate love making their spirits exhange bodies they revealed. The husband explained that he is a child of the sun and his lesser light or help mate was his wife who depended on him for everything was a moonflower. Challery spent hours looking at them and that's when she realized that the wife looked like a representation of the Queen of Sheba of Ethiopia and the husband King David. She had seen sketches of them one time from her grandad who has the power to print photos from his time travel. Now Challery never met her grandmother but her grandad showed her photos of what she looks like in heaven. She often times had a golden face with silver wings stretched across her back. Grandad even printed some of the coins from heavens streets. All gold, titanium and topaz. Finally by 3 p.m the editing was finished. Challery emailed her photos off to the magazine coordinator feeling wonderfully relieved. She headed off to grab some lunch from a nearby seafood restaurant. The smell of lobster and shrimp was amazing in the Lobster's Tail. Challery gave a second glance to the cute guy at the cash register and she felt a tug in her stomach. Her flame magnet was pulling her away from making any contact with him. She smiled and paid but looked down instantly.
"Shy aren't you?" the cashier said.
Challery didn't respond.
"Well enjoy your lunch anyway," he said in a low tone as she walked on the checkered tiles toward the outside.
Moments like this helped her to know that after finding her soulmate she would have wars to fight. Not everyone was her friend and twin flames often warned each other in the realm of the spirit unknown to them. Lunch for Challery was saved by catching up with Ariel and Jasper in the park of Lake City. They all talked about the upcoming trip. Jasper had a whole list of things Challery could do in New York should she  find her soulmate. This included watching Broadway shows, going to Six Flags themepark, visiting the white house which was something Challery wanted to do more so back in 2008. Jasper also included taking a drive to Borooklyn where Challery could catch a basketball game of the Nettes.
"Gee thanks Jasper. You really put alot of effort into this," she said picking through pieces of coconut shrimp.
"Trust me its easier to do internet searches if you can see electricity," he said giving Challery a smile she couldn't quite describe.
"I guess if you say so." Challery often wondered how Jasper could see electricity but couldn't read thoughts. I mean nuerotransmitters are elctrical too right?
After sipping her last bit of sprite Challery prepared to head back to work.
Ariel rode shotgun as Jasper started the neon green dirt bike.
"Catch you later gater! I'll call you CM!" Ariel hollered above the roar of the Kawasaki and with that Ariel and Jasper were off like a rocket through the traffic.
