Chapter4 (Part 2): Unexpected

I saw another exorcist hurt, so i came for rescue, when suddenly a large Kagare blocked the path. I went one step backward not knowing what to do. It then grabed me with it's whole hand, making Byako's claws dissapear. The exorcist was trying his best to rescue me from the kagare's grasps, but ended up getting thrown away. What am i going to do?? Theres no luck in escaping now! I thought to myself, when a flash of light suddenly appeared and exorcized the kagare out of plain sight! I froze in awe, when i suddenly realized... I'm falling!

*Swoosh

Not minutes past, Shimon caught me, in a princess hold (again😂) . Placing me gently onto the ground, he sighed and faced me. "You need to be more careful Mayura! Didn't i tell you to do so? If Seigen-san knew about this, would you think he'd be happy?" He said with his eyes full of worry. "I-i'm so-" I was cutted off. "Don't be, we don't need those in the battlefield. Ok? Just help Haruka-chan with evacuating the injured people, am I clear?" He said making an order. "Yes... sir." I said feeling down. I hurridly approach the thrown exorcist, he has bruises all over his body, and i can tell his amount of spell power is weak. I quickly purified him to stop him from breathing misama air. And made a portal away from Magano to evacuate him, and the other people Haruka-chan found. We went out of Magano, finally breathing the non bloody fresh air around us. We quickly cared their wounds and evacuated them to a safe area.

I went back to Magano to find any more victims. I saw some stranded, others... dead. I helped them out and purified every single one of them, well except for the dead ones.

🎵🎶Ahh, Ahhh, Ahh🎵

A voice called,it has a melody from it's cries, it was from the abandoned tower up North. Rokuro heard it as well. We told the guys and they  immidietly came for backup.

We ran as fast as we could to reach it's sound, and.. it led us to a small little girl with light green hair resting in a faint little spot where light would show, she should be at the age of four to five more or less, but... why is she here? If an ordinary kid were to be in magano, they wouldn't survive for even an hour here because of all the misama gas, or the kagare might track them and consume all their spell power. "Whats a kid doing down here?"

The child then approached us one by one with a wide smile on her face, while we smile back, and of course Adashino-san giving the old poker- face. The little girl then gave a little frown of dissaproval making Adashino-san sweat drop. She then then swayed away and hugged Rokuro. "Papa!" She said smiling brightly. "What about your Mama Benio?" I asked wanting to see how she reacts.

Seeing a child here in Magano was unexpected, but listening to her calling Enmadou 'Papa' was unbelievable, i can hardly contain my laughter.

When i heard Mayura ask, "What about your Mama Benio?" That was it, i'm going to burst out laughing. The child then turned to Adashino, and frowned once more. I couldn't hold it anymore and gave out a chuckle. The others sweat then dropped looking at the three and their position i couldn't help it but let out another one.

We all agreed to take the child back to the dorm. Riding along side them, i observed that Mayura has been really close to the Twinstars and the others, like they've fought alongside each other, cried with them, laughed with them. Sometimes i envy their closenes, like they've lived with each other all their lives.

I witnessed how they talk, how they would interact, i really envy them for having such a big familly- with Mayura with them.

As we draw closer to our destination, i would chat with Mayura from time to time, i would always notice the others smirking and eying us from the sides, while we were to get embarassed seeing how they'd react.

We reached our destination. We went inside the dorm then Arima called. I stepped outside to answer.

"Shimon-kun!! How are you there in Narukami? Found your sweetheart there?" I sighed in embarassment. "Get to the point Arima-sama, i know your not just asking how i am, is there a new mission?" I asked. "Actually, it's very coincidential. I need you to stay there in Narukami." He said in a very serious tone. "Why? Aren't i supposed to take Mayura and the Twinstars to Tsumikado island?"
"It's too early for them to get here, they need more time and training before they leave for Tsumikado." I went silent to his reply. "I know you really want Mayura to get to the island as soon as possible, and I gave you hope that she could, but it's not meant to be Shimon. She needs more time to grow her abilities. And by then, i'll allow you to stay there for two years,ok?"
I was speechless to his anouncment. "R-really?!" "Yes, but by then, you have to train them well, you got that?" "Yes! I won't fail you, Arima-sama!" I replied with my heart full of joy. I can finally get to spend more time with Mayura!
