I'm really not feeling well. And Lucinda is here. Of all people. She's only coming to be nice but still. I just had a baby for crying out loud. I'm holding my barely week old baby, and the "fairy" (more like witch) of our town has come to visit, to bless the baby. I had a beautiful baby girl, Charlotte Darcy. I love her to pieces already. "Now, lets see the little one." Lucinda says, plucking the baby out of my grasp without permission. I roll my eyes without her noticing. "She's the sweetest thing. Now, lets see about a gift." Lucinda says thoughtfully. "Oh! I know a cute one that I haven't used yet. The fainting goat." She says. I furrow my eyebrows. "The what?" I ask.

"The fainting goat. Don't worry, she doesn't actually faint. It's just a funny term." Lucinda says. Then she snaps her fingers, and the spell is on my baby. I snatch her back from Lucinda. "So what happens?" I ask cautiously. Lucinda laughs. "She'll fall asleep when she gets nervous! Isn't that cute! And wait til she's older! It'll get her out of a lot of awkward situations." She winks. I scoff. "Lucinda, take it back. You know that'll make things hard on her." I say defensively. "No! Darling I promise it won't. But I need to be running along now. I wish you luck with her, before you know it, she'll be grown into a little handful!" Lucinda giggles, then she sees herself out of the house. "You have got to be kidding me." I say out loud. Well, here goes this......
