The Mistress unties Wanda and she falls to the ground in a heap. It takes a couple of minutes for her to get her muscles working again, as the Mistress goes over to the wagon.

Attached to the two-wheeled wagon are two creatures Wanda needs to look closely at to see what they are. They are obviously two females with pony leg boots on their feet, and their arms in longer pony legs laced up so their backs are level to the ground.

"You use females as ponies to haul your wagons!" exclaims Wanda.

"Yes, the males are too valuable, all their strength needs to go into the production of the Substance in their sacks," she explains.

Wanda thinks about the slightly salty taste and the healing of her body. "I can work with that," she thinks.

She looks closer at the ponies. They have blinders on their heads so they can only look straight ahead, a bit in their mouth with a round hole it each end, for a rein to go through. There is a small tube in the mouth plug part of the bit. "Must be to water them," she thinks.

There is a large piece of leather on their shoulders with a hole just large enough for their head to go through. Each of the four corners of the leather have a ring for attaching a chain to the beam behind them, two on the top and two on the bottom.

There is a shaft shaped device on the end of a pole, the shaft is resting in the back hole of each female. "Pull back on the shaft," calls over the Mistress.

She does and it gets harder the farther she pulls it back. "Springs" Wanda thinks. The farther she pulls it back the higher a flag that looks like a pony's tail raises.

A pole goes up between each pony, with a strap that is attached to the pony's back right at the shoulder blades. The reins go through the holes on each side of the bit in their mouths to the rings in their nipples. A slight pull on the left rein would pull on the left nipple, forcing the pony to go in that direction. "Ingenious" she thinks. A small chain is attached to the four rings in the nipples, so they don't flop around too much.

"Time to leave,' announces the Mistress.

"Where do I sit?" asks Wanda, "there is only one seat."

The Mistress glares at her. "Maybe I will tie your hands behind your back and attach a chain to that ring between your legs and you can walk or be dragged behind the wagon."

Wanda puts her head down. "Sorry, I will do whatever you ask."

"Grab the seat out of the back and place it where the pole meets the beam behind the ponies." Wanda gets the seat and places it where she is told. It is made to fit snug on the beam and pole. There are two small pegs sticking a short way out of the middle pole at just the right place for Wanda to put her feet on.

She eases herself onto the seat carefully, because just like her stool back home, there is a long large shaft right in the center of the seat. She smiles, "maybe it will be a bumpy ride."

Wanda gets her wish. Every time one of the wheels on the wagon goes over a bump, she not only gets shafted, but comes down almost sideways. The best is when both wheels slam down at once, that really drives the shaft home.

"Are you enjoying yourself, Wanda? I am taking the short road, but it is the bumpiest. I want to get you back to the castle before dark. I have plans for you," says the Mistress evilly.

Wanda wonders about what plans she might have, just as she savagely whips the reins. This pulls cruelly on the pony's nipples, but they get the message and move faster.

They come to the top of a small hill and then start down the other side. The ponies need to hold back the wagon, so it doesn't go to fast. They dig in their hoofs to slow the wagon down. The only problem is that the shaft at their back holes is the only way to hold the wagon. Both tails go up as the shaft is rammed home. "Now you see the reason for the tail, if one isn't holding as much as the other, then that tail will go down. No pony wants to be in that position, the others can be very cruel when we get back," explains the Mistress.
