Wanda arrives at work the next morning, feeling good about the results of the weekend. Ted and Carrie are totally committed to each other now, and she has two new playthings to play with.

She is dressed in her head turning clothes, and everybody smiles upon seeing her. Overnight she has changed from the shy office girl to the talk of the water cooler.

Then, after lunch, she gets a note from the main office to appear before them first thing the next morning. "This could be interesting," she thinks, but is not too worried because of Alice's offer to join her team in Wonderland.

She does her normal duties around the office, till the end of the day. She heads home to a quiet evening in her playroom. She finds it nice to just sit and relax. The last couple of weeks were busy, but so rewarding.

The next day she heads straight to the main office. She is wearing her new style of clothes. The two males and the female smile at her suggestively as she sits down across from them at the boardroom table.

They pretend to look over some papers as she waits for them to address her. The head male looks up and tells her that there seems to be an oversight on their account. She should have been promoted shortly after she arrived in the office.

"We need to apologize for this situation. Now that it has been brought to our attention, we would like to offer you a position as a personal secretary to my office." She smiles as she asks him what her duties might include.

He pauses as he obviously imagines some. Then he shakes his head as he says, "the normal duties, plus employee evaluations and motivational events scheduling. The pay will be about 25% higher than what you now make."

Wanda sits back and thinks for a second before she answers him. "I want to thank you very much for this opportunity. Can I have a few days to consider your offer?"

He nods to her. "Monday morning will be fine."

She gets up to leave as they all rise. She shakes the male's hand then the female moves in closer to tell her that she will find the position interesting, as she looks deep into Wanda's eyes and smiles.

As she leaves, she thinks it is the short skirt, not the brain, that they want. She gives them a good show as they watch her leave the room.

Wanda goes about her duties, as she realizes that her popularity is all about how she looks and carries herself around other people. Just like Wonderland, where she inspired the servants to do what she needed them to do.

Wanda heads home to her quiet sanctuary. As she pulls up the driveway, she sees someone sitting on her front steps.

As she gets closer, she can see that it is a woman. Then as the female stands up, she can see that she is dressed in the sexiest short tight skirt she has ever seen, with the sheerest white blouse imaginable, sitting on top of the black leather lace up boots, which has her feeling wicked again.

She gets out of the car and hugs Alice passionately. "I am so happy to see you," she beams. "I was going to e-mail you tonight."

Alice reaches up and touches her lips with her fingers to silence her. "I know Wanda, I have been watching you closely. Let's go inside."

She turns and heads to the door and opens it so she can step through. Wanda thinks, "did I not lock the door this morning?" Alice strides across the foyer to the stairs, and up to Wanda's room. She follows her to her own bedroom.

Alice turns around and asks her if she wants to talk here or in her playroom. Wanda is speechless, how does she know all about the house. She replies, "the playroom would be nice."

She smiles and says, "OK, let's go."

Alice opens her closet door and goes to the stairs that lead up to the playroom. She sits in the chair that Carrie used on the weekend. She needs to lift her tight skirt all the way up so she can sit down with her legs spread. "Do you mind if I sit here?"

Wanda goes to her stool as she smiles at her, "no I enjoy the feeling of freedom also," as she lifts her skirt to sit bare on the stool.

Alice reaches behind the chair as she asks Wanda if she would like some wine. She moans as she responds, "very much." She brings her hands back from behind her, with two crystal glasses in one hand and a bottle of white wine in the other.

Wanda's mouth drops open as she tries to speak. Alice smiles. "Sometimes it is easier just to accept things, believe me!"

She closes her mouth and asks shyly, "2011 chardonnay?"

"I prefer the 47 myself," replies Alice. "It has more of a kick." She pours some for the two of them. Wanda takes a sip and savors the slightly salty taste. It just slides down her throat but erupts in her belly.

"Oh, that is good," moans Wanda.

Alice just smiles.

She looks hard at Wanda as she says, "what you did to and for Carrie and Ted after how they had treated you all those months, has only confirmed what I suspected about you. The job that I offered you is seriously on the table now."

She must ask what her duties will be. Alice smiles and replies, "oh, employee evaluations and scheduling motivational events. The normal stuff, oh except some naughty play periods."

They both laugh, as Wanda asks how she knew.

Alice just looks at her.

"Right, better not to ask," she remembers.

Alice turns serious, "I seriously have no idea what you will be doing; it's Wonderland!"

"What will the pay be like?" asks Wanda.

She smiles again saying, "there is no pay, health plan or retirement package." They laugh again at the strangeness of it all.

"You will have everything you want and need, plus full health and remain just as you are now."

She starts to open her mouth, but Alice holds up her hand to silence her.

"Right, better not to ask."

"I will tell you everything after a two-week trial period in Wonderland. When you decide, just step into the car that will be waiting for you on Monday morning and tell the driver where he should take you, the office or Wonderland."

Alice gets up to leave. Just as she is setting her glass down, the power goes out and the playroom is plunged into darkness. Wanda hears Alice exclaim in a frightened voice, "NO!"

The power comes back on, then just as she is about to ask what is wrong, she realizes that Alice is gone. She feels an icy shiver run up her spine.

Longs' reaction to finding out the truth, and what just happened with Alice, has her a little nervous, but excited about what is going on.

Wanda's computer comes back to life and flashes a message received icon. She opens the message; it is from Alice.

"Sorry I had to leave so quickly. The emergency is over, and we can go back to normal now. Hope to see you soon."

Yours truly,
