Unlikely Love (OC's x Reader)

More blood and a new ally

Aya POV

It had been 3 days, 3 days of being hold up in a fucking high school, Redd said he knew some people who could help but I wasn't sure they could help against whoever the hell these guys are. With a majority of the marines and ODST's dead as well as a few dead Spartans we're slowly getting killed off. Just now Redd and Domino were trying to find a good LZ for the back-up to land at. I was stuck on a turret keeping watch over the back entrance with a couple marines. We did find more civilians around the place, about 15 others, so at least that's good news.

Marine 1: "Pelican overhead, not one of ours from the looks of it."

I look up only to see a white and purple pelican flying over us, without any explosive weapons our only choice was to stay down and hope we don't get spotted.

Marine 2: "white and purple isn't the same colour as the other pelicans we saw were more tan coloured."

Aya: "Doesn't mean it's friendly."

Soon enough the pelican moved on. I looked at the time to see my shift was up and I quietly go inside and walk down the stairs.

Aya: "Natasha, you're up."

I said as I sat down on a crate while I took my helmet off.

Natasha: "don't get too comfy, most likely we'll get called in."

I nod towards her as she walks up the stairs. I grab a water canteen and I take a drink of it. As bad as this sound, I feel very relaxed in this ghost town.

Nobody's POV, 5 minutes ago

Redd and Domino had found an old car park that would be perfect for landing a pelican on.

Redd: "Alright, Domino set up the markers and a beacon, I'll make sure the other buildings are secure."

Domino: "Yes sir, I'll get it done in about 2 minutes."

Redd jumps over to the next building across from them that was an old apartment building, after that he moved over to the door and he makes sure his BR magazine is full then he kicks down the door. Once Redd was inside he turned on the flashlights on his helmet and the one on his BR as he moved down the set of stairs, he quickly clears through the rooms on the top floor. He then quickly sweeper the next floor until he reached the 2nd floor, where he heard a lot of movement. He got on the radio to Domino.

Redd: "mate, call that pelican in, there's something down here."

Domino: "do you need help sir?"

Redd: "just get the pelican in and make sure nobody shoots it down."

Redd turns his comms off and he starts slowly sweeping the room until he came to the last room. The door suddenly flew open causing Redd to fall back. Soon enough he felt a gun on his neck.

???: "Answers, now."

Redd looks towards the person who was saying this.

Redd: "TNR, now I recommend you get off of me before I stab you."

Redd said as he put the hilt of his energy sword against their stomach.

Redd: "think my shields can hold against a shitty little magnum better than your body can hold against an energy sword?"

The person backs off as Redd gets up and grabs his BR.

???: "Took you guys long enough to show up, get in here before they notice you."

The man aims the magnum at the stairs leading down to the 1st floor as Redd walks into the room, The man closing the door behind him.

Redd looks around the room seeing a few civilians and an injured ODST on the only 'bed' in the room.

Redd: "what happened here then?"

???: "I'm a police officer, the ODST over there is part of the planets special forces team, Jacklyn. She got hit outside by a sniper, we've bandaged her up but we don't know what else to do, she passed out once we got her inside."

Redd looks at Jacklyn then he grabs her AR and gives it to the police man

Redd: "I'm going to need your name, we're getting you all out of here."

???: "Officer Baker. I'm Officer Baker."

Redd: "Alright Baker, get everyone here ready to move."

Redd walks out the room, closing the door behind him, and he continues clearing the building.

(So this isn't as good as I wanted it to be so, I hope you all still enjoyed it. I'm going to try update this weekly while also working on my Siege book and the RP's. So yeah, I'll see you on Monday.)
