Clara
"Are you wearing that?" Kelsey looked at me accusingly.
"Erm, well yes. I don't really have anything else and this is what I would usually wear. Is something wrong with it?" I self consciously tugged at my plain T-shirt. She only said we were going to a bar so I had just thrown on some jeans and boots.
"Where do you usually go? Actually don't answer that. Honey, lets get you something else to wear, you need to show off that figure! You can borrow something of mine!" She squealed and then started dragging me into her room.
"Oh, erm, I don't think I'll fit into anything of yours, I don't know if you've noticed but we're completely different" This was a bad idea, I could sense it.
"Oh please, you're stunning, I mean I can tell you're not a natural brunette, but your secrets safe with me" she winked. I was going to put up a fight, but I'd quickly gathered that Kelsey didn't seem to recognise the word 'no'. That or she just purposely chose to ignore it and carry on anyway.Half an hour later we had pulled up outside The Crystal Slipper. I'd never been anywhere like this, I didn't remember it being around when I'd been here before, but I didn't tend to come to the outskirts of town. I tugged the tiny leather skirt down that Kelsey had managed to squeeze me into. I'd put my foot down when she tried to make me wear a flimsy bralet with it so in the end we settled on a plain black bodysuit that tied at the front giving my cleavage an extra boost, not that it needed any help. Apparently I would fit in more dressed like this... where was she taking me?
Kelsey seemed to know a lot of people in the area as we moved past the queue and she nodded at the guy guarding the door. Stepping inside, I realised I was actually rather overdressed... or better yet, I think I had too many items of clothing on. Although it was pretty dark, I could still make out the many body's writhing against each other. I definitely heard moaning, and I'm pretty sure not all of the activities going on in this room were 'dancing'. Looking to my left, I caught sight of a pretty blonde grinding on a very happy looking mans lap. I quickly whirled round when I realised he'd reached around and had taken her top off. Where the hell had Kelsey brought me?!
In my hurry to run out I smacked straight into Kelsey, who was crying with laughter.
"Oh lighten up, Clara. Have you never seen people having a good time?"
"Not like this!" I waved my arm around frantically. "Do they not have somewhere more private to go?"
"Look, people round here aren't prudes. They like to have a good time. Everyone is very comfortable with their sexuality, you don't have to join in. I never do, but I like the music here and actually it doesn't hurt to watch" I could feel the heat creeping up my face.
The next thing I knew, she was dragging me to the bar.
"Hey Nate, give us two shots of tequila and two beers!"
I wasn't a big drinker. I couldn't imagine ever being drunk in front of my family or Charles.
I took the shot and coughed as the warm liquid slid down my throat, burning as it went.
Kelsey laughed "We need to get you out more, come on, let's dance!"
Before I could protest, I found myself in the centre of the dance floor. Kelsey certainly knew how to command attention. She was sexual and alluring. I closed my eyes and let the beat of the music take over. Slowly circling my hips and I pushed my hands through my hair. It felt so good to just for a moment, have no worries.
Opening my eyes, I tried to focus on Kelsey. Where was she? I was about to walk back to the bar when I noticed her in the corner in a very heated discussion with the guy from the bakery earlier. Not too sure whether I should intervene or not, I decided it best to go and sit the bar and wait.
Peeling the label off my beer, I felt a hand at my back.
"Hey sweetness, I haven't seen you before. Looking for some fun tonight?" I turned to find a man leaning towards me, his alcohol breath smothering me.
"Er, no thanks, I'm just waiting for my friend" I went to turn back around but he moved his hand and gripped my thigh.
"Oh come on now, don't play hard to get" he sneered.
"Please, get off me!" I tried to pry his fingers away. I gave him a hard push and he stumbled backwards.
"You bitch!" He roared. I'm sure he would have carried on with many more expletives, but the door to the front of the bar swung open and in walked the bikers from earlier. Alex.
I jumped off the stool and made a run for the bathroom.
Slamming the toilet door shut, I took deep heavy breaths. Chatter of girls filled the bathroom.
"Oh my god, did you see the Dark Valley MC are here?" One of them squealed.
"Yes! Alex Fury is look particularly good tonight. I'll definitely be paying him a visit at some point" the other laughed.
I felt sick. I needed to get out of here. Why did I ever think coming back here was a good idea? I couldn't handle seeing him again.
Stepping out of the bathroom, I started making my way down the dark hallway when I was suddenly spun around and caged in against the wall. Two strong, tattooed arms cornered me. I didn't even need to look up to know who it was. The scent of him engulfed me.
"CeCe"
I froze, no one had called me that for eleven years.
"CeCe, look at me" he growled.
I finally glanced up and my breath caught. He was even more striking than I remember.
"What are you doing here? Why now? Did you think I wouldn't know it was you?" He fingered the ends of my hair. I knew it was only natural for him to have questions but I just couldn't answer them right now. This was too much.
He leaned into me so that his mouth was right by my ear. Shivers ran down my spine.
"Talk to me.. please" he whispered.
"Alex" his name came out as a whisper, tears were forming in my eyes. "I can't do this right now, this is too much" I pleaded.
He pulled back ever so slightly, his breathing heavy. "You have to be kidding me? You can't just show up here in my bar, in my town after all these years and expect me not to question it!" He sounded angry beyond belief now.
"Wait, what? Your bar?"
"Yes, my bar. The MC owns this place. Did you not notice it isn't like a regular bar?"
The thought of the couples inside had me feeling all flustered again. I needed to get of here, I couldn't breathe.
I tried to push away from the wall but Alex was like a formidable force, unmovable.
"Why are you running from me?" His eyes were pleading with me.
I was trying to gather my thoughts when who I could only guess was the woman from in the toilets earlier came up beside Alex rubbing her breasts over him. "Oh hey Alex, you're looking good. Need something to take the edge off?" Her hand reached down between his legs and it was too much. I caught him off guard and shoved him hard, pushing through the bar I came to a stop outside. Breathing hard, I looked around, without Kelsey I had no idea how I was going to get home.
A hand round my waist pulling me back into broad shoulders startled me.
"We're not done here, CeCe" Alex nuzzled into my neck. My head fell back and I stifled a moan.
Wait, what was I doing? There was a woman literally two seconds ago throwing herself at him right in front of me.
Grabbing at his hands, trying to pry them off, I tried to make my voice sound strong.
"We are done here Alex, you seemed pretty busy inside. It was a mistake coming here. I have to go." I had no right to be snapping at him like this, but I just couldn't help it, he did all kinds of things to my emotions.
He pressed further into me and I felt his arousal at my back.
"Does this feel like we're done Clara?" He growled."Clara! Clara, are you okay?" Kelsey came strolling out of the bar.
Startled, I pushed away from Alex. "Erm, yes I'm fine, I was actually looking for you. I'm not feeling great, can we go?"
She looked between Alex and I suspiciously.
"Yeah sure, I've had enough anyway"I was about to walk off when a hand grabbed my wrist spinning me round. I came face to face with the piercing eyes that seemed to see straight into my soul every time.
"If you think that I won't find you when you leave here, you've got another thing coming CeCe. I lost you once, I won't do it again" he spat and with that he stormed back inside.I turned to find Kelsey staring at me with her jaw open.
"Okay, what the hell?! You know Alex Fury?! Why didn't you mention that?"
"Please, not now. Can we just go home?"
I was tired and emotional and I needed to just sleep for a week.
