All Things Pumpkin (CNCO- Erick)

"Did you seriously injure yourself carving a pumpkin?" you asked when you heard a yelp from the other end of the table.

Being best friends with Erick was always full of surprises and this time it involved him showing up at your door at 7 in the morning to go visit a pumpkin patch. He was home for Halloween which meant the two of you would be going full out on all things Halloween related. He knocked and called until you eventually got up to open the door and let him in with a bit of a glare on your face.

"What are you doing here idiota?" you asked as he closed the door behind him and handed you a large cup of hot chocolate.

"We are going to the pumpkin patch an hour from here! We will pick the perfect pumpkins then bring them back here to carve. Maybe even bake some pumpkin pie too." He explained happily while pushing you towards your bedroom to get ready.

"Hurry up Y/N! We need to get there early for the best pumpkins. They also have sheep!"

You just ignored him and continued walking to your room before grabbing a change of clothes and making your way to the bathroom. You took your time but not too long because you know it's not wise to leave Erick alone in your house for too long because he will get bored and start making a mess.

Once you're ready, the two of you leave and make your way to the pumpkin patch that he wouldn't stop talking about. Upon arriving Erick immediately runs off towards the pumpkins spread all over the field leaving you to try and chase after him. Luckily he stops about halfway into the field so you're not stuck running all the way to the end.

"Y/N what do you think of this one? Do you think it's big enough? Is it smooth enough? Ooh maybe we should get that one in the corner. Oh I know! Let's get 5 pumpkins." Erick says at a thousand miles per hour all while running around with the pumpkin in his arms.

"Erick chill out. We are only gonna get 2 because there isn't enough room for 5. Keep the one you're holding and we can go grab the other one too. Now hurry up so we can pay for them then we can look at the petting zoo ok?"

He nodded before handing the first pumpkin to you and running to grab the other one.

After paying and taking the pumpkins to the car, the two of you make your way back to the petting zoo where you spent a good hour or two playing with all the animals before leaving to go back to your house to carve the pumpkins. Which brings you to this very moment of helping Erick clean and bandage up his finger.

"I can't believe you cut your finger while carving the pumpkin. I told you to be careful and stop fooling around with it." You told Erick with a shake of your head.

"I just wanted it to look good. Look at it Y/N. I think everyone will love him." He said with a pout while turning the pumpkin around so you could see the little ghost he carved into it.

"I'm sure they will now stop pouting. Go sit down on the couch and find a Halloween movie for us to watch and I'll clean this all up."
