July 6th, the final day of the Grand Magic Games...
Fireworks exploded in in the sky, the audience cheering loudly and excitedly, waiting for the last event to commence.
"At last! At last! It's here!" Chapati Rola cheered. "The final day of the wizards' passionate festival, the Grand Magic Games! Like it or not, only one guild will be victorious today!"
"I'm your emcee, Chapati, and next to me is a former Council member, Yajima-san, who will provide the commentary." He introduced.
"Good to be here." Yajima-san commented.
"Our special guest is none other than the mascot of the Grand Magic Games, Mato!"
"Kabo!" Mato cheered.
"You don't have to judge today, Mato?" Chapati Rola asked.
A Lacrima-Vision floated in the sky, showing the mascot waving at the crowd.
"Not today-kabo!" Mato replied. "Everyone, do your best-kabo!"
The crowd cheered loudly.
"Now then, the teams are about to take the field-kabo!" Mato announced.
Suddenly, colorful dust bombs exploded as the Quatro Puppy guildmark formed in the air.
"Currently in 6th place! Can they change that?!" Chapati Rola remarked. "Formerly a hunting dog, now a puppy! Quatro Puppy!"
The members of Quatro Puppy raised their arms in the air with determined yet happy faces.
"Although he's been trounced once, you can't underestimate the power of the drunken hawk, Bacchus." Yajima-san added.
The confetti that was falling into the ground suddenly turned into glitter.
No surprise there...
"Alright! Next up on the field is..."
The Blue Pegasus emblem appeared in the air.
"...Blue Pegasus, led by the current master of parfum, Ichiya Wanderlei Kotobuki!"
Pink powder flowed on the ground as the Trimen, including Jenny, posed stylishly in front of the audience. Almost every girl in the crowd squealed at the sight of the three young men.
"They're currently in 5th place..." Mato announced. "...but in the end, will they be able to grasp the parfum of victory-kabo?"
Lamia Scale's emblem glowed brightly in the air.
"Here they are! Lamia Scale is on the field!"
There was no dramatic entrance, but the five participants still walked proudly through the arena.
"Right now, they're in 3rd place," Chapati Rola reminded. "but will Ice Wizard, Lyon Vastia, who rivals or surpasses Fairy Tail's Gray Fullbuster, lead his team to victory?!"
I heard Gray grit his teeth. "Like hell I'll let that happen." he grumbled.
"Boys..." I sighed, tucking my chin into my turtle-neck.
"And we musn't forget Cheria Blendy, the God Slayer, or Jura Neekies, one of the Ten Wizard Saints!" Mato added.
"A team you'd never get tired of." Yajima-san commented.
"And sharing 3rd place with Lamia Scale is..."
A geyser of water exploding in the ground as the Mermaid Heel emblem glowed in the sky, droplets of water falling to the ground.
