Imprisonment

"Now tell us! Where are Erza and Mirajane!"

I looked over my shoulder, hearing the weird-looking creature groan in pain. "Intruders?!" He exclaimed, "Tartaros has intruders?!"

"How much will it cost to repair the damage?!" He continued to whine.

I sniffed the air. Obviously, all of these scents were unfamiliar, but they also had something I couldn't quite place my finger on.

These scents felt sinister, unnatural.

The creature, presumably another demon, picked himself up. He had a wide smile, but it had no genuine happiness behind it. Only filled with sinister.

"Give us back Erza and Mira!" Natsu shouted.

Raising a hand, the roundish demon nonchalantly said, "Well, well. Then you're a friend of the human prisoners."

"So you're with Fairy Tail?"

Only deepening my glare, I snarled, "Then they are here!"

"How did you know we were here?" He asked, "Don't tell me you followed the former chairman?"

He laughed weirdly, "How much will this blunder cost?!"

Tightening my fist, a bubble of water formed as I sped towards the demon and striked him across the hallway.

A current of wind pushed him even farther as small shards of ice fell on the ground.

A minute passed and the roundish demon slowly picked himself up. "You hit me, huh?" He whined, "How much is that sin going to cost?"

All of a sudden, he extended his arms as spikes protruded from his skin and pushed out his armor.

"Huh?" Natsu hummed.

"1,000 of your souls!"

The demon stretched out his arm and tried to lay a hit on us, only for his fist to connect with the ground when we jumped back.

"He's stretchy?!" Evie and Happy exclaimed.

With his right arm, he stretched it again and hovered it around us. When I tried to move away, I felt a couple of sticky substances sticking on my arms and back.

I looked over and noticed that Natsu was also in the same situation.

"Connection" was all the demon said until I felt a rush of multiple volts running through my body. I screamed as I weakly tugged on the substance to gain no avail.

"W-What is this?!" Natsu shrieked.

Feeling my energy suddenly get drained little by little, I hunched my back and faintly screamed out, "My energy...it's...!"

Noticing the volts suddenly stopped, I looked up and saw Happy and Evie's teeth embracing the demon's striped arm.

Whilst the demon was screaming and us giving a swift "thank you", Natsu ripped off the substance. I followed.

Twisting his arm, the demon threw our exceeds against the ground.

Feeling the adrenaline rise in my veins, I, along with Natsu, rushed towards the demon. The demon raised his hands and started to give us a flurry of fists.

My body moved left and right, dodging the incoming punches effortlessly.

We raised our hands and smacked the demon's eyes with our palms.

Getting pushed back and screaming in pain, the roundish demon complained, "Now it's gonna cost you 2,000 souls!"

I clicked my tongue.
