Natsu and Juliana vs Jackal

"...Ready to start some hell-hunting?"

The jackal-looking demon could only glare at us with a darkened expression, his eyes filled with clear disgust.

I clicked my tongue as I examined his appearance. The demon was rather young and looked almost exactly like a human. He had dark blonde hair that was brushed to his left side of his face with two clots of hair that jutted out from his head, almost representing cat ears. There were black markings that slowly covered both of his forearms and hands.

He wore a green, striped, sleeveless shirt that accentuated his torso. A beige jacket was wrapped around his waist with his tail appearing from behind. Lastly, the demon appeared to be wearing white pants with black details along with black boots that tucked in the hems.

"Who the hell is he?!"Michello howled, "My home! He destroyed my home!"

As his granddaughter tried to calm him down, the little exceeds could only stare at said demon.

"Is that Tartaros?!" Evie yelped.

"Could he also be the one who attacked the current members?!" Carla asked.

Lucy and Wendy walked up to the former Councilman. "He's after you! It's best that we get away!" The blonde informed.

"You don't have to tell me that!" Michello uttered.

Wendy nodded. "It'll be okay if we just leave this to Natsu and Juliana!" She reassured.

"Oi!" Natsu and I called out, only for the demon to smirk devilishly.

The dark blonde raised his arms and dragged his foot back. With a twirl of his arms, powerful winds were sent across town.

We all yelped and tried our best to hold our positions. Explosions could be heard just as soon the currents of wind calmed down.

I looked back, my eyes widening. Flames and smoke surrounded the town, as if trapping us from ever leaving. Screams for the townspeople echoed throughout the city.

Anger and adrenaline rushed through my veins as I glared back at the demon. "The hell did you do?!" I snarled.

"The town has nothing to do with this!" Lucy argued.

Fire exploded beneath our feet as we charged towards the demon. The demon twirled his arms again and chanted out "Explosion!" while sending out a fireball at us.

"Natsu! Juliana!" I heard Lucy call out as Michello said something about a direct hit.

Amateur mistake for a demon

I opened my mouth and started to suck in the flames as Natsu followed. The spicy and hot taste slipped down my throat and immediately to my stomach. I couldn't pinpoint the taste, but it had some sort of dark flavor to it.

Noticing the flames clearing up, said opponent stared at us in shock.

Flying towards him, I let out a yell as my left fist met the demon's face and pushed him into the ground.

"Natsu!" I yelled out, receiving a "you got it!" reply from him.

I sent down multiple fireballs at him as soon the demon got up. Once he started backing away, the ground beneath him started tearing apart.

Without warning, Natsu jumped up from the floor and punched the opponent by his jaw, sending him flying.

With flames encasing our hands, we jumped up and followed the demon.

"Fire Dragon: Iron Fist!"

Punching him in the stomach, the demon flew into a wall as his face winced in pain.
