Chapter 17: Triggered

Toni POV

Cheryl looked like she was going to have a panic attack so I calmly walked over to her.

"Babe look at me everything is going to be fine," I said looking into her beautiful eyes.

I held her hand and told her to breathe with me in and out slowly. She started to calm down and I just held her.

"Toni what am i going to do? I just killed someone."

I looked at her and ran my hand through my hair. And I pulled out my phone and dialed the one person I knew that was used to this kind of thing.

Phone call....

Well hello little wolf

Dad I really need your help are you still in town.

Well I'm in the next town over I believe it's called Greendale I needed a little snack. Why what's going on?

Well me and Cheryl have a problem and we really need your help so can you come back please

Sure darling I will be there as soon as possible

I hang up the phone and look over at Cheryl, "it's going to be okay babe he will be here shortly."

20 minutes later

Cheryl POV

Toni and I have been waiting seems like forever for her dad but we finally see headlights our way. Klaus comes over and hugs Toni.

"Well what do we have here?" Klaus said with a proud face.

Toni goes over everything about Nick to their first encounter all the way to him kidnapping me. If i thought Toni looked scary when she was mad Klaus face was terrifying. I see where Toni gets that look from.

Klaus face was really red, "Look you kids go I got this and tell no one okay."

We both nod and Toni picks me up and vamp speed me to her house.

Toni puts on some nike swear shorts and t shirt while I have on a pair of her boxers and black shirt.

" Baby I really can't believe I killed someone," I said leaning into her while we are on the couch cuddling.

"It's going to be okay baby girl my dad has this handled. He deals with stuff like this all the time."

"How does your dad know about stuff like this. I know you talked about his history with murder and all, but I mean he seems nice."

Toni sits up and looks at me,"Trust me babe my dad was the worst of them all I mean every vampire in history are afraid of the great Mikaelson but my dad he had a bit of a mean streak just I don't blame them. Nothing can kill him."

I looked shock and confused," not even like a stake through the heart! What about sunlight?"

" Nope,because he is an original he can't be killed,

I just nod my head and keep quiet.

Toni POV

Me and Cheryl was in my bed sleeping she was on my chest and my arms was wrapped around her. And I hear the door open from downstairs. I slowly get up not wanting to wake her up. I go downstairs and I see my dad sitting at the kitchen table with a cup and a bottle in front of him.

" Everything's okay?"I ask.

"Yes i perhaps but why didn't you tell me about this so called Nick?"

"Because dad I know you and I didn't want you going around killing a teenager and I had it handled. Till he tried to kill Cheryl."I shake my head getting a blood bag sitting beside him.

"Dad I have to tell you something."

He looks at me with an interesting face,"What not another dead body I hope."

"Dad you dealt with plenty in your time one dead body today wasn't bad. And with you in Greendale who isn't to say you left a few bodies." I smirked at him

He laughs at me," yes you are right I'm not going to lie there are a few and even when you called I was on my 4th body."

I looked at him and shook my head.

"What I was really hungry."

"Fine dad i won't ask. But it's about Cheryl. She killed a human and she is freaking out. But that's not the worse thing she should be worrying about."

"What do you mean darling?" Klaus had asked.

"Cheryl has werewolf genes. And she just triggered her curse that she knows nothing about it."

He looks at me and smirks,"Well well well so it begins."

"Dad I'm so serious her Nana told me the first time we met because she knew about our family. But Cheryl she is going to freak the fuck out."

"Language Toni language." He says taking a sip of his bourbon.

I scoff," really dad what can I do?

He pulls his phone out and scrolls through it.

" Dad this isn't the time to check to see if any of your hookers text you."

"Calm down little wolf I'm checking to see when's the next full moon. Ah, looks like it's next month on a Friday."

I Sigh,"so I have what,I look at the phone wide eyed, 3 weeks to tell my girlfriend she is going to go through the most painful experience in her life. Wow this is just great isn't it."

"Well look on the bright side at least her sex drive is going to be higher." He looks at me smiling.

I look at him in disgust," really dad really?"

" My mate is going to turn in 3 weeks and you talking about my sex life. I should throw your ass through those windows."

He laughs," and I would love to see you try."

I shake my head," just how am I going to tell her?"I sit back in defeat.

"Well all I know is that you better tell her sooner than later Toni.

"I know dad we are going to Thislehouse first thing in the morning to talk to her nana. I want her to be there for comfort."

I stand up finishing my bag."Night dad. Will you be here in the morning?"

"Probably not I have some business to attend to back home but I will be here for your game next Friday."

I smile and hug him while he kisses my head.

I start walking upstairs," I will see you next Friday then."

"That you will!" he yells.

I laugh going to bed. But inside I was dreading the next few hours.
